
Ok ever wonder what would happen if a stirfry peppersteak an a stuffed pepper dinner had a kid?
Well here's yer answer! ...jus' a lil' somethin' different I thought I'd try with the idea of combinin' two'a m'favorite meals usin' bell peppers :)
ingredients:
4 bell peppers (1 green, 1 yellow, 1 orange an 1 red)
1 pkg. of thin-sliced sirlion steak (there were 3 slices in the pack)
1 box of Uncle Ben's long grain wild rice
1/2 sliced small onion
seasonings:
worchestershire sauce
A-1 steak sauce
teriyaki sauce
Mrs' Dash seasonings
1.) in small sauce pan cook up the Uncle Ben's rice as instructed then set it aside.
2.) take your 4 peppers an slice off their tops and remove their seeded cores. The top sections I then cut away from the stems an sliced thin ta cook with the steak an onions.
3.) Slice off 2 cuts off from a small onion then slice them down the middle ta make half rings, seperate these and place in medium skillet anong with the sliced pepper tops and seasongs an sauces and let simmer... slice up the thin steak inta strips while this is simmerin' then add them until the steak are a nice an tender brown.
4.) steam cook the larger portions of the peppers jus' enough so that they retain their crispness, these will serve as the 'bowls' to contain the peppersteak stirfry.
When all is ready just make a circular bed of the rice then fill the pepper 'bowls' with the peppersteak stirfry and serve... Hope ya like how it turns out :)
