Well considering I didn't draw it, and have the artist listed I should add to this literary *boop*, I couldn't say.
I just gave the artist a written list of parameters and some themes and they first did a concept piece for me, which is in my gallery, and then I pointed out some errors and adjusted the list of parameters for the commission to get the finished piece here.
Also I'm a huge fan of BATTLETECH, and it's PC-game incarnation MECHWARRIOR, but no those played actually no part at all in my concept of the BELAMs nor the Hastati in particular here. *boops again*

BloodRayne the game was technically dieselpunk and it had mechs. There's Ring of Red, another game with dieselpunk mechs. There's several tabletop games with mechs that're dieselpunk too. o3o *boops* And thank ya! Though I've told ya about the BELAMs before though so you get a second *boop*. x3
