He's based off the many flavours of japanese candy! The 'sweets' on his back are actually mushrooms that grow on him. They take the appearance of a known piece of candy to fool unsuspecting prey. These faeshroom are jesters and like to play pranks!

I really like how he turned out!! I wanna keep hiiiim ;u; haha!
