Some have asked why there are still crows amongst the upright children of the Goddess, when the First Crow only pretended to swallow the pomegranate seed and completely refused Her gift of humanity.
To these people, I say: it’s just a story. Way to over-think it, sweetheart.
hawkfeather sent me a plush bird some time ago, a red “Trickster” crow with native canadian motifs, and I’ve taken to carrying him to meets (or lack of them) to observe and mock my decisions (if at least only in my head). If Wotan had Memory and Thought on his shoulders, I imagined a snippy winged Regret being FUCK DIS and going off on his own way.
