When Hons is either really hungry or badly damaged by extreme heat or cold, his body has trouble keeping a definite shape. He can’t keep himself solid and his cells can’t properly mimic textures or substances. He’ll start falling apart and forming humanoid shapes that do not correctly work. It’s quite troublesome for him, since becoming the sludge that he truly is, makes it much harder to sweet talk people into feeding him. Hons is also horrendously terrified of dying, the fear is literally written into his biology. He’ll beg and weep until someone helps him, which will usually end up being Gem fixing the situations he brought upon himself.
