She is perky, and loves parties, but she also strikes me as falling a bit on the insane side. You really should watch the first episode through to the end. She explains her thought process, and it's like listening to a pony sherlock holmes.

Pinkie's not just perky, she's insane and may or may not have reality warping powers. If nothing else, she uses a lot of Toon Physics.

When talking about character popularity, I think all of the mane six have an equal following. Suffice it to say; Pinkie Pie's the most eccentric of the six. She's hyper, bombastic and random, as well as having various means of defying common sense and the laws of physics. And yes; she loves parties. It's her special talent and all.

She's got a nice pair of balloons there! XD I'd say her strongest episodes are "Party of One" and the one where Weird Al Yankovich guest stars

Pinkie Pie represents the aspect of friendship called Laughter. She loves given her friends and sometimes complete strangers parties, and generally making people laugh. Pinkie is kinda nuts, but it's a good kind of crazy, the kind that makes her parties the best you'll ever have. She's also very hard to make upset, but when she is upset, it's very easy to spot, as her mane/hair becomes straight as a line and her craziness becomes the "mentally ill" kind of crazy. She's always looking for an excuse to throw a party, especially for her friends. Her greatest aspect however, in my mind at least, is her determination to put a smile of everyone's face.

The best episode to describe Pinkie is the one where her and another pony called Cheese Sandwich compete with each other over who can throw the best party. It gets very silly in some places, solemn in others, and downright hilarious in most of it. It's a season four episode, that's all I know.

yeah in season 1 Party of One that's when the internet started this and the infamous Cupcake fanfiction started everything.

Cupcakes was written a few days before Party of One aired, which is why it had such an impact.

Really? I bet that guy lived in Cali or somewhere else where he got the episode earlier. But he wrote it before that episode aired damn that is creepy in my opinion anyway thanks for that info i appreciated it.
