Coffee pot (just the pot itself) = warm or cold coffee (there is just the pot earlier, so the coffee must be imaginary).
It would make more sense if it was:
Coffee pot with coffee in it = warm or cold coffee.
There you have it

I would have said that, since coffee appears in only one side of the equation, and the same is true for the pot, both must be equal to 0 (unless you accept that the pot and the coffee are the same thing).
