Warm, though well beaten the fake fur lining still had enough volume to trap heat, it also smelled pleasantly of it's owner. A worn in outline let the small mouse know exactly where he needed to lie to get what he wanted.
"Ok, I'm ready." Silas called up above.
The call was faint, but with his ears trained down Alex heard it well enough and swung his left foot over the fuzzy house slipper. "Dun' wanna hear you complainin' later that it was too much." Boomed that southern accent from above. The tiger's pudgy, thick padded toes dipped inside the slipper and rested against the insole, leaving the rest hovering overhead in an obvious tease.
"Hmph, Never too much." That tiny voice would reply.
It was the last thing the rodent would say for the next few hours as that heavy feline foot slipped itself in further despite the mouse's presence. Squirming with anticipation as that rounded pad of the bigcat's heel slowly lowers down closer, obviously still giving a show before.. -whump-. Alex lets it drop that last half an inch, forcing a muffled squeak from the mouse now buried alive in warm, padded darkness.
"We'll see 'bout that." The tiger snickers from above, pressing down with his right leg until he felt some of those tiny joints pop from the pressure. He'd not harm the mouse, but he'd not exactly be gentle either...
