Swallowtail Productions is experimenting with new forms of entertainment in the only place where you can expand your horizons and your waistline at the same time: A college campus! Rothsmund University is seeking new admissions to add to its expanding, and sometimes rapidly contracting, student body. Tuition is cheap, the food plan is cheaper, and there are new residencies opening up on campus daily. Scholars are free to explore a myriad of Majors options, but every alumni will share one Minor with their fellow classmates: Survival. You may not graduate at the top of your class, but we guarantee you'll graduate at the top of the food chain. So come spend some time at the only university where the Freshman Fifteen is considered a diet, Rothsmund University. We'll see you... 'Round Campus.

The website is nicely done, just needs to make a bunch of confusing changes every year that completely wreck your system for navigating it and it will be a true university website.
On a side note: Is their on campus housing? If so I feel sorry for any Young defenders who get a single double room (room for 2 but your roommate never shows up) and opt to keep it room mate ready to save a few bucks if either of the Greek houses get put on probation and the members have to find alternate housing. Come to think of it now I am interested to see what happens when you have a YD and a Pledge living together~

I think I finally figured out why this comic unnerves me so much. It's been bothering me the whole day.
Essentially, they've created a world where it's not only socially accepted, but encouraged to murder people. To the level that those who murder are seen as higher and better than those that don't, those who don't are looked down upon, are worth much less than anything else. Where the simple act of asking if you won't get murdered, would end up with you being murdered.
But I guess what makes me most uneasy is that it has a propper following. Now of course, I don't think that just because reading the comic, you'll end up trying to eat someone, it's still unnerving to me.
And don't try to pull up violent video games simillarities. Video games are a very different media to all the other forms.

The first bit is a perfectly reasonable reaction. I wouldn't expect most people to enjoy this kind of thing. It's very much a niche comic.
But please don't go attributing a fetish comic to what people are like in reality. You're right in that video games are very different: Video games are far more interactive than comics, so you have more of a personal investment while you're playing video games. Art is just something you look at, so it has less of an influence. And yes, there are creators like me who are more invested, but, well...I'm an educator working with the students who fall through the cracks. I'm against the death penalty. I have never been able to finish an "evil" run in a Bioware game because it makes me feel bad to do things that aren't comedically dark and actually have long-term consequences. That's who I am, and my stupid fetish has next to no bearing on my personality. It's a fascination, nothing more. Most fetishists don't turn it into a lifestyle.
What you said in a comment above is correct; no society could form where murder is so callously brushed off. That's part of what makes this world fun to me: It's completely unrealistic. It's not harmful. I've done research on this because I've had concerns myself, and research by-and-large says that enacting darker fantasies is an outlet and almost never leads to an escalation into reality.
We're people, just like you. We know right and wrong just as much as anyone else. Some of us even moreso due to the exploration of the darker parts of our psyche. It's all in good fun, and if it ain't your bag, it ain't your bag, but don't go judging the people who do like it. :3
This is a super-late response, but considering you commented four months after the submission was posted anyway...I figured necro-replying was acceptable. :D

I would sort of wish you'd left it well enough alone, because thinking of it made me uncomfortable. And I'd completely forgotten all about it.
And of course, it's different for the artist, because they actually do express something, rather than just take in. And I'm not really worried about canibalism having a run through or whatever, it just makes me uneasy is all.
In any case, you have a nice art style.
And in most game "evil" runs are basically growing a moustache, putting on a top hat and punting babies into volcanoes. I never run evil run myself, despite being a cruel bitch, I'm a beacon of light in games. Fancy that.

Well, sorry, but I try to clear this up whenever someone voices concerns. It really bothers me when people judge based on a fetish, so I try to make sure as well as I can that they don't walk away misinformed. Had I known you'd forgotten about it, I probably wouldn't have replied, though, so apologies for that.
Thanks for the compliment on the art, though. :3

That's funny, 'cuz I trust people's humanity. It's the one constant between us all, but it's also the part that's flawed.
No mindset is entirely alien. Some come close, but there's always some amount of relation you can find if you look hard enough. At least, that's been my experience thus far.
But whatever. Waxing philosophical here. You have a nice...day, it looks like judging by your profile info. :)
