Story:
Alexandria Residence, Araius Colony: Omega XI, Infinite Sacrifice, 03/02/2019, 0730
The sound of light humming jars me from my slumber earlier than my usual rising time. Yawning, I wipe my eyes and scan the area around me. Finding my bedroom surrounding me calms my senses. Panning upward, Rebecca's smiling face glances down at me.
“Good morning, Mister Crinklepants, did you have a good nap?”
Giggling at the nickname, “Rebecca is so funny as always. I’m gwad she’s mah babysitter.” Happiness surges through me as my eyes fall to the fresh racecar diaper she just secured around my waist. Smiling, I face her and raise my arms, “Fank yoo for changing me, Webeka.”
“You’re welcome, little munchkin!” Poking my nose and smiling, she lifts me into her arms and twirls me in the air once before cradling me, "Guess what, Caiden?” She kisses my forehead, then stares at me, raising my excitement as my eyes scan her, asking her to continue speaking, “I'm going to be babysitting you for the next two months!”
Giggling with jubilation, I smile at her, eyes wide, “Weally? Webeka, are yoo seweeous? Yoos not kidding me or nuffin?”
“No, Caiden, I’m not kidding with you. Your parents called me last night and said they’d be gone for the next two months on a nationwide business summit and wanted me to watch over you. I’ll be sleeping across the hall in the guest room opposite yours, so I’ll always be a few steps away if you need anything. So, starting today, it's just you and me for two whole months!”
Giggling, she scratches my ears, “Well, technically it will be three whole months if you count this one. I'll bet you're excited, huh?” Gleeful, she kisses my forehead and goes to my drawers, returning with my airplane overalls and red mini airplane decorated T-shirt straightaway. Smiling, she slides the overalls over my fresh diaper, crinkling echoing as they stop at my chest. Excited, yet gentle still, she sits me up and slides the T-shirt over my head and snaps the overalls into place.
Reaching in the bottom drawer of the changing table-dresser combination, she rises back to me with my airplane tennis shoes and closes that drawer as well as my other open drawers. Smiling, she slips on my tennis shoes and ties them firm. “There we go,” Clapping her hands, she lifts me in the air, admiring her work. Scanning my ensemble with a scrutinous eye, she sets me on my feet moments later, “Well, Caiden, baby brother, what do you think? Am I a master of diapering and dressing you or am I?”
Nodding, I absorb the love radiating from the clothing and the information I’ve just been given. Once my shock subsides, I stare up at her. Rebecca – my first babysitter – loving, kind caretaker who can be matched only by my Oniichan, is caring for me and she’s awesome! I’ll never tell her that though, she already knows. “Rebecca, I'm…I'm so…so happy for you. I'm super duper happy right now!”
“I know, sweetie, I know.” Lifting me into the air, she carries me out of my room, “I think we should celebrate, what about you? Does my widdle guy think dat’s a good idea, huh?” Cuddling me close, “Is dat a good idea, widdle Caiden.”
Giggling at the baby talk, I nod, “Finally, my wishes are coming twue! To be babied just wike toddlers and experience that carefree life while giving someone else that enjoyment of caring for someone, dat’s da bestest!” “Dat sounds weally good, Webeka, but can we eat first? I’m hungwy, weally weally hungwy.”
She chuckles as my stomach growls seconds later, “Alright, we’ll go get some breakfast,” Reaching her car, she straps me into my carseat and kisses my forehead, “How’s Davis-Alexis Diner sound? They have really good pancakes and that’s one thing I can never top, their pancakes. I also hear they have a good T-bone steak and Chicken Alfredo platter that you can have if you want something that’ll really fill that belly of yours.”
“Otay, wets go, Webeka!” Giggling, I raise arms to her and revel in the warm embrace that encompasses me seconds later, “I wove you, I wove you wots and wots, Webeka! Wots and wots and wots!”
Releasing me, she slides into the driver’s seat and tousles my hair, “I know, I tend to have that effect on all the kids I babysit. Now,” Facing the road, she shifts to neutral and revs the engine, “hold on, Caiden!” Shifting into first she floors the gas, eliciting giggles from me as the engine screams, thrusting us forward and blowing the wind through our hair. “Yep, Caiden, we’re going to have the best celebration since your first birthday.”
I giggle as her thought passes my ears, followed by the gentle caress of the wind, “I can’t wait for dis! Dis is gonna be the bestest day eva!”
“I couldn’t agree more, baby bro.”
“So, Rebeeca,” scanning the highway then a passing sign reading: Amelia Pop: 50,000 10km, I snuggle into the comfort of my carseat, “Rebecca, where are we going now? We were just on Highway 5’s Rest Stop Shopping area, where to now?”
“We’re going to Alteras Bakery first baby brother. However,” Tossing me her cellphone from the center console, “I need you to call them and order a large double chocolate cake that reads ‘Congratulations!’ on it in blue cream cheese frosting. After the order is placed that should give us fifteen to thirty minutes to head to XTerran VI Supermarket.”
Smiling, I dial the number and giggle hearing a voice, “Hello?”
“Hello, Alteras Bakery, what can I make for you today?”
“I’d like a large double chocolate cake decorated with ‘Congratulations!’ on it. Um…how much will it cost, ma’am? I’m ordering on behalf of my babysitter and um…”
“Isn’t that nice of you, sweetheart? Well, the large cakes come only in rectangular format. Right now the order stands at $25 and it will be ready for you to pick up in thirty minutes.”
“Thanks a lot, ma’am!”
“You’re welcome, sweetie.”
Hanging up the phone, I return it to its resting place and smile, “Webeka, da wady said da cake’ll be weady in thirty minutes and dat it’ll cost $25.”
“Thank you, Caiden. You did a very good job.” Smiling, she tousles my hair as she pulls into the parking lot. Shutting off the engine, she hops out the car and scans the strip malls attached to the XTerran VI Supermarket. Walking over to me, she lifts me into her arms and sets me on my feet. Walking inside, she straightaway spots the carts adjacent the entrance and grabs one. Scanning my hopeful visage, she picks me up and places me in the cart seat.
Giggling, I swing my legs, “Thank you, Rebecca!”
“You’re welcome, little guy. Now first off, the snacks aisle.” Driving the cart, she chuckles and within two minutes an entire aisle stuffed with chips, sodas, cookies, and every sugar snack known for thousands of sugar rushed children greet my eyes.
Giggling, I watch her place two bags of chips, two 2L soda bottles, and two racks of chocolate chip cookies in the basket. “Wow, Rebecca, this is a lot of stuff. Oniichan doesn’t normally let me have this much sugar in one sitting.”
Ruffling my hair, she exits the aisle, “Don’t worry, Caiden, I won’t let you eat it all in one sitting. You won’t be eating all of this tonight anyway. One of each is enough for the night of fun that awaits us. The other half is for the rest of the month.”
“Oh, okay.” Sighing, I sit back in the cart and swing my legs, watching the different aisles pass me by. “I can’t believe how big this store is. There’s like twenty-five aisles in one mile!” Within minutes, our final stop reaches my vision: the baby aisle.
Rebecca smiles at me as she rolls down and places three boxes of Xterra size 6 diapers, six boxes of Xterra Plus baby wipes, and twelve bottles of Xterra Super Sensitive baby powder in the cart. Giggling, she tousles my hair, “There we go, Caiden, we’re all done shopping now. This supply should last you for the three months we have together. With as many diapers you go through, they should have a discount.”
“Um, Rebecca, how are you going to fix all this in your car?”
“I’ll put it in the front trunk of course.” She chuckles as we head toward Darius' Movie Supply adjacent to Alexis’ Electronic Central, “The Veyron does have a trunk, it isn’t super spacy, but for what little I’m buying it will be alright.”
“Okay, so what movies are we going to pick out?”
“Well, I think that Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End would sate your movie hunger don’t you?”
Giggling, I nod as she places the three movies in the cart and heads toward the register. I smile at the cashier as I help hand off the groceries to the belt for scanning, receiving a smile in return for my trouble.
“Well isn’t he just adorable, how old is he?” She inquires glancing at Rebecca, “Rebecca, did you go cradle robbing?” Chuckling, she continues to scan the items in spite of her light jeer.
Shaking her head, Rebecca reaches into her pocket and pulls out her wallet, “No I didn’t commit cradle robbery and Caiden here is seven years old.”
“Seven, really, are you sure?” Scanning the last of our haul, she glances me over and enters the final code, “He’s so adorable, Rebecca, I mistook him for a toddler, five years old at the most.”
“Well, he’s seven, Marian.” Rebecca chuckles as the cost pops up on the card reader: $350.25. “Despite his being a little small for his age, he’s seven-years old and he’s my charge for awhile.”
“Yes, and he’s just adorable! He’s lucky to have you.” Marian chuckles as she reaches out to ruffle my hair. “You always attract the cute ones, Rebecca, I’m a little jealous.”
“I know and I wouldn’t trade the little guy for the world.” Sliding her card, she smiles once the transaction processes. With a curt nod, Rebecca carts me out to the parking lot. Moving to the front of her car, she pops open the ‘trunk’ in the front of the car! “Well, here’s my trunk, Caiden. It’s not spacy,” Chuckling, she places all the groceries inside and smiles, “yet there’s enough room for what I needed to put in there.” Lifting me out of the cart, she pats my padded bottom and straps me into my carseat. After returning the cart to its corral adjacent her car, she hops in. Tousling my hair, she starts the engine. Sensing my apprehension, she unstraps me and pulls me into a warm hug. “Hey, it’s just the engine, Caiden. I know it sounds scary, but,” Strapping me into my carseat, she smiles at me, “it’s nothing to fear.”
Nodding, I snuggle into my carseat as the roads pass us by. Ten minutes later finds us back home standing in my room. “Man that was a fun ride. I didn’t think she could travel that fast and us not feel it! She went over 200kmh and it was AWESOME!”
Rebecca chuckles as she packs my diapers, wipes, and powder in the top dresser/changing table drawer, “Well, it would seem you have an unsurmountable capacity in this drawer, Caiden. I was able to fit all this stuff in here and there’s still some room.”
“Yep, well, Oniichan’s a good builder that way.”
“I’ll bet he is,” Smiling, she lifts me into the air and places me on the changing table, “I’m just checking you, little one,” Sliding a finger into the cuff, she declares me wet, but not soaked and lifts me into her arms. Patting my padded bottom, she smiles, “Well, you’re okay for now. Are you ready for our movie night, Caiden?”
“Yep!” Giggling, I raise my arms to her, “Wets do dis!”
“Alright, little menace,” She giggles and lifts me into her arms, “let’s go watch our movies.”
Rebecca smiles as she puts me in the car. “Hold on tight, Hun.” Echoes her nice voice, “It's gonna be a bumpy ride.” Smiling, she rolls all the windows down and starts driving at 234 kmh. “Let's see….” she ponders to herself. “..Alright, the movie starts in a few minutes…I can be there, gets the snacks, and get the tickets…”
Whimpering, I grip the sides of my carseat, “Rebecca….Rebecca, pwease slow down…” Tears well in my eyes as the world sprints by in a blurred mass, the car reaching 300 kmh in seconds of my glancing at the tachometer. “SLOW DOWN! SLOW DOWN! SLOW DOWN! I'M SCARED! SLOW DOWN! SLOW DOWN, REBECCA! WAAAAH!”
Rebecca gasps, hearing me crying, “Sorry! I'll slow down!” She releases the gas, slowing down to 88 kmh and sighs. “..I guess I need to pay attention more…” Within minutes, we make it to the theater. Smiling, she picks me up and grabs her purse along with the baby bag. “I'm so sorry about that, Caiden…I didn't mean to go that fast.” She sighs as sets me on my feet and scans my fearful visage.
Sniffling, I shake my head, “It's otay…I…I just had a bad experience a wong time ago when….” My voice fades as I raise my arms to her, “Will you carry me, pwease? I…I dun have much energy for walking wight now.”
Rebecca picks me up and takes me inside the theater. She pays for the tickets and goes to the snack area. “Anything you want in particular?”
“KitKat Bwa! Two of dem, pwease?”
Rebecca smiles and grabs two KitKat bars, “Anything to drink?”
“Um……Mountain Dew!” Waddling over to her bag, I rummage through and pull out my bottle. Giggling, I set it underneath the fountain and smile back at her. “I love Mountain Dew. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Will you put it in my baba?”
She chuckles and nods, “Of course, baby.” Filling my bottle, she hands it to me then grabs an empty medium sized cup to fill with the same drink. Closing the cup, she kneels down to me, the bag held on her back as a backpack, “Ready to go, Caiden?”
“Yeps, I’s ready ta go and sees Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl!” Raising my arms, I giggle and flex my hands, “Pick me up, Webeka and wets go see da movee!”
“Alright, Caiden,” Smiling, she lifts me into her arms and carries me into the auditorium. Once inside, she scans the area and finds two topmost seats. Setting me in my chair, she tousles my hair and sits down beside me. “Ready, little one?”
“Yeps…” Smiling, I avert my eyes to the screen and previews greet my eyes, “wets do dis!”
When the movie ends, Rebecca’s half asleep. “....Zzz...!!!” Sitting up, she immediately wakes up. “What happened?!...Oh dear…Did I fall asleep during the movie..?”
Giggling, I crawl into her lap, crinkling with my movements. “Yeps, you fwll asweep!” Kissing her forehead, I crawl back down into her lap and smile at her, “Webeka, is we gonna watch da otha two movies or is we gonna get da cake from da bakery?”
Rebecca blushes in embarrassment. “..Um…Let’s go get some cake, okay?” she inquires, nervousness seasoning her voice.
“Otay,” Giggling, I climb out her lap and drag her out of the auditorium. “Webeka,” I halt in front of her car, “Webeka…”
“Yes, Caiden?” She inquires as she straps me into my carseat. “What is it?”
Bowing my head, I whimper as we begin heading down the road. While the scenery speeds past me and the highway greets the Bugatti, whimpers taint my voice as I turn to my babysitter, “Webeka……Webeka……do you love me? Do…do you like me being your baby brother?” Bowing my head again, hissing echoes across the car as a flood enters my diaper and fear tears through me, “Do you think I’m…I’m a cry baby? Do...do…do you think…” Swinging my feet, my eyes focus on the floor as I fill the seat of my diaper, “Do you think I’m a burden?”
“Of course I love you, Caiden” Rebecca replies, “I love having you as a baby brother. You’re the best baby brother I could ever ask for.” She stops at a red traffic light and sighs. “There is nothing in this world that can make me dislike you, sweetie.” As the traffic light turns green, she continues driving. “When I first came to your house, I'd thought you'd hate me for being a bad babysitter…But, the more we bonded together, more and more I started to feel loved again. And it's all thanks to you, Caiden.” She smiles and parks the car at the large bakery parking lot. “You’re not a burden, Caiden. You’re an adorable, sweet, kind hearted kitten. And I’ll love you no matter what you do…” She smiles in delight, “Now, let’s get some cake.”
Rebecca grabs my hand and takes me inside the bakery. “..H'm..” says Rebecca. “...I wonder what kind of cake they have..”
At her statement, a lavender/grey feline appears behind counter of the bakery. “Hello there, Rebecca.”
“...Hello, Cascada..” Rebecca rebuttals, a very frightened tone seasoning her voice.
“Well, can I take your order, ferret girl?” Snickers the feline.
Turning to me, “...What kind of cake would you like, Caiden?” Rebecca inquires, trying to smile.
“Umm…” Scanning the assortment, my favorite: a double chocolate cake winks at me. Smiling, I tug on Rebecca’s shirt and point at the cake, “I want dat one, Webeka!”
“Okay,” Facing Cascada, she points to the cake and the feline pulls it out. “Thanks, Cascada.”
“You’re welcome, Rebecca, twenty dollars.”
After handing Cascada the cash, Rebecca takes the cake and leads me outside, “Come on, little one.”
“Rebecca……” Scanning the car as I’m strapped in, I wonder who that Cascada was and why she was being mean to my babysitter. “Rebecca, I dun wike that feline lady. I know that some Norterans are anthromorphic animals due to their high energy levels, but none of them are mean. She was a meanie and dun wike her at awl. I dun wike her! I dun wike her! I dun wike her!”
“I figured you wouldn’t, Caiden.” She sighs as she pulls out the driveway and begins speeding down the highway.
Pouting and crossing my arms, I stare at Rebecca, “Rebecca,” Averting my eyes to the scenery speeding past me, I smile. “So cool, golden fields.” “Rebecca, who was that cat wady anyway? How could you know someone who’s such a meanie?”
“That rotten feline was my enemy, Cascada. We were in the same high school, she used to tease me and make fun of me.” Rebecca replies, anger grating her. “..I never liked her...that old hag deserves to die in fire…” Sighing, she stops the car moments later, the house smiling at us. “Let's go inside and eat some cake.” She rebuttals, her anger abated.
Shaking my head, I’m lifted out of my carseat, “Rebecca, dat’s not nice ta say about somebody.” Reclining my head on her shoulder, purrs of contentment echo and I cuddle closer to her, “Webeka, you shouldn’t wish bad stuffs to happen ta people. It’s not nice, not at all.”
Smiling as the dining room reaches my sight, I’m set on my feet. Giggles rack my throat as Rebecca sets the cake on the table along with two plates and two sets of forks, “Thank yoo for da cake, Webeka!”
“You’re welcome, baby bro. I’ll be right back alright?”
“Otay!” Giggling, I plop down on the floor with a squish. “I’ll wait, Webeka.”
Returning from the kitchen with my highchair, she sets it in front of the dining room table. Smiling at me, she picks me up and secures me within it. Turning to the cake, she cuts two pieces, sets them on a plate, and places it along with the fork on the highchair tray. “Ready for your dessert?”
“Yeps!” Opening my mouth wide, Rebecca spears some cake with the fork and drives it toward my mouth. “Yummy! Very very yummy!” While I’m being feed, my face becomes decorated with cake.
“You’re such a messy eater, Caiden.” Giggling, she wipes my face clean and begins feeding me again. “I love you so much, Caiden. I’m glad you’re happy, you certainly look happy!”
Smiling with cake smeared across my face and painting my hair, I giggle and affirm her statement with a smile, “Fank yoo, Webeka. Fank yoo fowa everyfing!”
“You’re welcome, sweetie.” After being fed, I’m carried to my playroom and laid down on the changing table. Sucking my thumb, my dirty diaper is removed and my legs are lifted. I smile at Rebecca as she wipes my bottom with a clean baby wipe. Afterward, the scent of baby powder reaches my nose as it’s applied to my bottom. Absorbing the scent, my bottom is lowered onto a clean diaper. Giggling, I remove my thumb as Rebecca secures the last tape of diaper and pats it with a giggle, the job complete. “There..”
“Thanks, Rebecca! I wove you!” Raising my arms and giggling, “Webeka, um…what do you wanna do now?”
“Hmm…well,” She slips my overalls back over my padding, “that depends, Caiden.” Chuckling, she secures my overalls and lifts me into her arms. Placing me over her shoulders with a loving pat to my padded bottom, she carries me out of my playroom, “I love you too, baby bro. Let me see what we can do?”
“Can you…can you um…” I sigh as we enter the living room. Purrs clear my throat as I cuddle up to her on the couch. “Rebecca,” I recline my head on her shoulder, “can you tell me more about that feline girl. What did she do to make you hate her so much?”
Rebecca stares at blank-faced me, left speechless. “...”
Tilting my head in confusion, I crawl up her chest and rest on her shoulders. Staring upside down into Rebecca’s face, I kiss her forehead and smile, “Rebecca…Rebecca, what’s the matter? What’s wrong? Did I upset yoo, Webeka?” Crawling down from her shoulders, I plop down in her lap with a crinkle and giggle as I train my innocent emerald green eyes on her, hoping to obtain an answer. “Rebecca…you shouldn’t let what Cascada did in the past torture you now. You…you’re the most wonderfulest person I know and you’re better than this.
Pwease don’t wet what wappened in da wast torture you, Rebecca. Forgive her for what she did. I know dat forgiveness might be easier said than done, but…but…don’t wet it mess with your head. You’re weally stwong, Webeka.” Crossing my arms, I hop out her lap and begin circling the table, my hand on my chin. “Wha do I do? I wanna help Webeka, but…but…I just can’t use my abilities, it might scare her and I don’t want her upset. I wanna help her. I wanna help Rebecca. She’s done so much for me and I wanna return the favor.” Rubbing my chin, my mind continues to churn, “What…what could she have done to make you wike dis?” Halting my pacing, I waddle over and clamber into her lap, concern etched into my countenance. “Rebecca, I wanna help you heal. Please tell me what she did? I…I can’t help you heal if you don’t tell me what’s wrong.”
Rebecca starts tearing up, “Ever since I joined high school…she'd hurt me…so much. She pretended to be my friend…I gave her my number…then she'd send me hurtful messages…she bullied me, spread rumors about me to the sc...I don't want to talk about it…I can't stand remembering that horrible person..”
“Why? What did she do to upset Oneesan?” Cuddling close to her, a whimper encases my throat, “Webeka, what…what did she say about you?” Crawling up her chest, I wipe her tears and plop down into her lap, scanning her and praying to The Most High that I can help her. “Webeka!” Tears well in my eyes and I bury my head in her chest. Pounding on her chest as a drum, “TELL ME! TELL ME! TELL ME! WHY WON’T YOU TELL ME? WHY WON’T YOU TELL ME? WE’RE FAMWEE WIGHT? FAMWEE TELLS EACH OTHA EVERYFING. TELL ME! TELL ME! TELL ME!”
Rebecca seethes, anger blazing in her eyes, “WOULD YOU LIKE TO REMEMBER THE NAMES A PERSON CALLED YOU?! WOULD YOU LIKE BEING CALLED A WHORE??! RETARDED?! PATHETIC!? That bastard spread rumors about me...She never stopped…She made everyone hate me…My foster parents…My friends…EVERYONE!!”
“You… you didn’t…” Whimpering, I rescind into her lap, tears welling in my eyes, “You didn’t hafta scweam at me. I…I was jus…I was jus…I was jus twying to help.” Sniffling, tears surge within my eyes, “I WAS JUST TWYING TO HELP! I…I…I….WAAAAAAH!” My emotions releasing, I burst toward my room, tears streaming down my face.
Sitting on my bed, I curl my legs to my knees, “WAAAAAH! I…I was just twying to hewp her. I was jus twying to hewp her. I…I just…I jus….WAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!” Hugging my legs, I bury my head beneath them, “What did I do? I…I just wanted ta hewp her and…and she…she just scwemed at me! She’s neva scwemed at afor. I…I…what’s wong with me?”
Rebecca, with tears running down her face, starts to cry. “.....Oh God...what have I done..?” Swallowing her tears, she rushes down the hall. Reaching my domain in seconds, she knocks on my bedroom door. “..Caiden..?”
Sniffling, I hop up from my bed and waddle toward the door. Wiping my tears, I open the door and stare up at Rebecca, tears pooling in my eyes as I cross my arms, “Wha do yoo want?” Tears well in my eyes and I rush toward her. Burying my head in her waist, “WHY DID YOU SCWEAM AT ME? WAAAAH! I…I JUST…I JUST WANTED TO HELP YOU! WAAAAH! YOU…YOU WERE MEAN TO…TO MEEEE! WAAAAH! WAAAAH! WAAAAH!”
As my tears stream down my face, hissing hits the air and my diaper sags as I flood and fill my diaper's seat simultaneously. “GWEAT, I WEALLY AM A BABY! I CAN’T STWP CWYING AT AWL!” “WAAAAAH!” Raising my head, I scan her face, DON’T…DON’T SCWEAM AT ME A..A…” Emotions raging, I bury my head back into her waist, “WAAAAAH! I…I WANTED TO…I……WAAAAAH!”
Rebecca sighs as she picks me up. “..Caiden, I'm really really sorry I yelled at you...I didn't mean to...I...don't know what came over me...I'm really sorry.” She speaks, a calm, soothing voice following her warm eyes. Smiling, she hugs me as tight as she can.
Whimpering, I cuddle into her embrace, “I…I’m sowee too, I shouldn’t have pressured you to tell me about Cascada. I…I didn’t know dat it would upset you so much.” Breaking from the embrace, I waddle toward the hallway then fall on my padded bottom with a squish. As the mess spreads and the smell wafts around the room, I turn to Rebeeca, my arms raised, “Webeka, pwease change mez? I…I…I’m sorwee for up…upsetting you. I…I’m…WAAAAH!”
Rebecca picks me up and puts me on the changing table. She takes off the very messy diaper and throws it away. Lifting my legs, she wipes me clean with a wet wipe. Tossing the wipes in the trash, she powders and lowers me onto a new diaper. Taping it secure around my waist, she pats the fresh padding. “..There we go..” She says smiling at me.
“Fanks, Rebecca. I’m sorry that I got you upset. Um…” Raising my arms to her, I smile and flex my hands, “Wets talk in my pwaywoom.”
Nodding, she lifts me into the air and places me over her shoulders, “It’s alright, Caiden. And no, it’s not your fault. I shouldn’t have screamed at you no matter the circumstance.”
Giggling, I snuggle into the crook of her neck as I’m carried into my playroom, “I forgibe you, Rebecca.” Purring in contentment as she sits down, crinkles echo until I find a comfortable spot, then I smile at her. “Webeka, um…I’m sorwee. I…I didn’t think somebody could influence someone like dat and make dem hate and stuffs. My famwee isn’t wike dat, my friends aren’t wike dat…I’m not wike dat. Maybe I…maybe I could help you out.”
“Caiden,” she chuckles and adjusts me so I’m facing her, “I don’t need you to help me with that. I told you I don’t want to talk about it and thus we shant have this conversation again. I want my baby brother to be focus on these things: playing, being adorable, getting fed, napping, and getting your diapers changed. Now,” Smiling, she pulls me into a hug and rubs my back simultaneous with patting my padded bottom, “I want us to have some fun. Why don’t we race again?”
“Otay” Breaking from the embrace, I giggle and waddle over to the gaming station. Turning to her, I pat a pillow adjacent me, “I promise I won’t cry if I wose dis time.”
“Okay, Caiden,” Smiling at the cars lining up alongside her Bugatti Veyron, she revs her engine. The moment my Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 rolls up to her, the flag drops and we speed off.
Two hours later, the SpeedMachine Event has ended with Rebecca the victor. Giggling, I crawl over and hug her. “Dat was a gweat event, Webeka!” Purring, I release her and waddle towards my room. Returning to her seconds later, I hold a drawing up to her face. “Webeka, dos yoo wike it? I drew dis earlier after I calmed down. I can draw weally good wight? It wooks wike a professional sketch don’t it?”
Rebecca smiles, “Caiden, it's beautiful…I love it.” She hugs me and giggles.
Purring with contentment, I melt under her warm embrace, “Fank you, Webeka. I’m gwad you wiked it. You didn’t know I’s was a pro at sketching huh?”
Nodding, she releases me and kneels down to my height, “Yes, you forgot to mention modest, baby bro.”
“Webeka,” Yawning, I raise my arms to her, “I’m sweepy now. What time is it?”
Glancing at her watch, she smiles and faces me, “It’s 2500, little one. However before you get to bed, you need a bath.”
“A baff?”
“Yes, a bath.” She then picks me up and takes me to the bathroom. Smiling, she turns on the tub and makes sure that the water will be nice and cool for me. “You had a long day. Plus, we can't have a stinky and dirty feline, can we?” She giggles as she puts some bubble bath soap in the tub so it could be a little bit more fun. I watch her closely as she goes to her bag to grab some of her old bath toys from when she was young. “Alright,” She chuckles as she turns the water off. “Let's get you cleaned, little man.” Smiling, she undresses me, picks me up, and places me in the bath tub.
Whimpering as the water washes over my skin, I scan the bubbles encroaching around me. Despite pouting up at Rebecca, she doesn’t release me from this torture chamber. Scanning the area I find two boats sailing through the bubbles. Giggling, I grab the boats and begin sailing them through the soapy water, my discontentment forgotten.
“Having fun, little man?” Smiling at my enjoyment, she scans me thoroughly. “Caiden, I noticed something…Aside from your ears and tail, you don’t have any fur.”
“Acourse I don’t…I’s a neko-Zentalis, Webeka. Haven’t you noticed that my family were Zentalis and not anthromorphic fursons wike you?”
“Interesting, Caiden. I did happen to notice that your entire family lacked fur on their faces and hands. Also, they wore more clothing than normal for us ‘fursons’ as you said. This is interesting indeed.”
Smiling as she finishes cleaning me, I nod. “Yep, the fursons are Norterans basically.” Purring, I’m lifted out the tub and dried off. Once completely dry, the towel is laid on the floor and I’m padded up and dressed in my blue footed pajamas.
“There we are, all clean and ready for bed.” Rebecca smiles as she picks me up and carries me to my room. Giggles sail from me as Rebecca tickles me once laying down on my bed. “Did you have fun with me today, Caiden?”
“HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! YES! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! STOP TICAWING HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! ME! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! REBECCA! STOP! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! STOP!”
Smiling, she halts her assault and tucks me underneath my covers, “Sleep tight, Caiden.” Kissing my forehead, she rises and walks toward the doorway.
“Rebecca, wait!”
Turning, she finds my smiling face aimed back at her, “What is it, Caiden?” she inquires as she hovers over me.
“You didn’t gibe me a kiss goodnight, Webeka. I can’t sweep without a nigh nigh kiss.”
Giggling at my antics, she kneels and kisses my forehead, “Sleep tight, Caiden. If you need anything, I’ll be right next door.”
Yawning, I smile up at her, “Fanks, Webeka.” Yawning again, slumber wages war within me. Rebecca smiles at me as she backpedals toward the doorway. As she leaves, slumber wins the battle and my body surrenders into a dreamful, peaceful sleep.

Alexandria Residence, Araius Colony: Omega XI, Infinite Sacrifice, 03/03/2019, 0800
Giggling, I waddle out of my bedroom and into Rebecca's bedroom. Scanning the area, I find her sitting on her bed, chatting on her cellphone. Backpedalling, I trip over a stray toy and fall on my padded bottom, whimpering and making my presence known.
“Hold on Alex,” Averting her eyes from her bed sheets, she finds me in the doorway sitting on my padded rear, staring up at her, blushing. Smiling, she walks over and kneels down to me, “What's the matter, Caiden? Are you hungry, you need a change?” Lifting me into her arms, she cradles me and rocks back and forth while resuming her chat with this Alex character and patting my bottom. Chuckling, she slips a finger into the cuff of my diaper next and smiles that knowing smile of hers. “Yep, definitely wet and poopy.”
“What? Oh yeah…forgot your babysitting job. How’s that going anyway? How’s your ride? What’s go……”
“Of course I’m still babysitting. My babysitting is quite a rewarding job, Alex, I’ve told you that a thousand times. Yes, my Bugatti is running perfectly. Yes, I'm babysitting right now, I’m at the client’s home caring for their kid. His name is Caiden, and yes, he's adorable, Alex. No, no, no, and a million times NO! I told you that my racing stays on the track. I told you I'm babysitting and Caiden needs me. Besides, he’d throw a fit if I even tried to leave his side for a minute. Yes, as long as you don’t do anything that you’ll regret. No, I can’t…..”
“……Alright then, sweetie, it was great getting to speak to ya. Love you, talk to ya later, Beck. See ya soon, bye.”
Hanging up the phone, she sits on her bed and places the cell on her bedside table. “Well, Caiden,” Turning her attention to me, “what is it widdle guy? Are you hungry or thirsty?”
Bowing my head, I scan the butterfly sheets and smile once my focus returns to her, “I was jus wondering where you were, dat's all, Webeka. Um…I am a bit thirsty though.” Crawling free from her grasp, I land on the floor with a squish and whimper as I face her, “I need a diapee change too.”
“Alright then, Caiden.” She rises from her bed and walks over to me. “Let's go get you changed and dressed for the day.”
Smiling, I rest my head on her shoulder as I'm carried to my room. Once inside, she sets me on my feet and opens my drawers. Pulling out three outfits, she walks over to my bed and lays them out.
“Okay, baby Caiden, which would you like to wear?”
Scanning the selection before me, I spot a blue onesie on the left decorated with 'It's a nekomini party' across the center with hundreds of multicolored nekominis dancing across it. Glancing at the middle, I spot a blue T-shirt and blue shorts embroidered with Detective Conan on the middle and waist bands respectively accompanied by a picture of Conan Edogawa with a magnifying glass. Scanning it a second time, underneath the glass I read 'Only one truth prevails.' Finally, glancing at the final outfit, I spot a green T-shirt and blue jean overalls. Scanning them close, I spot dinosaurs roaming across the shirt and overalls, multicolored as well. “Wow, when we went to dat clothing stow, Webeka musta bought me a wot of clothes and I didn't pay no 'tention to it. I dun know wha ta pick. She's so awesome, always providing me with everyfing. I'm gwad we met. I wonder if dat Alex guy is her boyfwend.”
“Well, while you’re deciding…” Chuckling, she lifts me into the air and places me on the changing table. “I need to get you out of that nasty padding you’re in.” Rebecca smiles down at me as she untapes and removes the soiled garment. “I don’t need my baby brother getting a rash now do I?” Giggling at her inquiry, air rushes under me as my legs are lifted, my soiled diaper is removed, and the cleaning begins. “So, Caiden, have you made your decision?” She chuckles, wiping my bottom clean with her second handful of wipes. “Man, baby bro, you really make a stink bomb in here.”
“I know dat, Webeka, and I'm still deciding. I..I dun know yet.”
“Well,” She lowers my legs and fluffs out a clean diaper, “If you can't decide, I'll dress you, sweetie, I don't mind one bit you know.”
Purring contently, my legs are lifted and the diaper is slid under my bottom. “I think I got it, Rebecca-neechan!”
“Really?” Smiling, she lowers my bottom onto the diaper and the sweet scent of talcum powder reaches my nose. She watches as I steal a glance at the clothing meters away on my bed. “So,” She rips the tapes and secures the left side, “has my little one decided?” Securing the final tape, she sits me up and swats my padded bottom, poofing powder out the back of my diaper and earning a giggle from me. “Or, does he need help?”
“Yeah, I gots it, Rebecca,” Giggling, I point to the far left, “I wanna wear the onesie! I've never worn one afore.”
“Good choice,” She smiles as she grabs the onesie and slides it down over my head. Once my arms are through, she lies me on my back, “Alright, just one more snap,” With a click, I'm secured into the one-piece garment and I'm lifted into the air, arm's length to my smiling babysitter. “All done, Caiden. Just one question, why'd you add the '-neechan' suffix to the end of my name?”
“It's an anime term used by kids for girls they look up to. Since you're my babysitter well, I figured dat would work.”
“Alright then, come on, I've got your diaper bag already packed and in my car, why don't we go riding?”
“Otay!” Giggling as I'm brought into a warm hug, I rest my head on her shoulder and cuddle, purring as her warmth, her love begins to surge through me as a river of electricity. “Rebecca-neechan,” My eyes wonder to the ceiling as I’m being carried outside, “um…is Alex…is Alex your boyfriend?”
Strapping me into my carseat, she stares into my eyes, speechless.
“...No…We’re just friends…But I'm looking for a boyfriend..” She said smiling as she puts the baby bag in the seat next to me. Getting in the driver’s seat, she starts the engine and buckles herself in. Sighing, she backs out the driveway, grabs her phone, and puts it in a phone holder on her car’s console. “Alright, let's figure out where to go...” She says to herself quietly.
“Um…” Kicking my feet and giggling, “can we go see him? I’m curweeus about ‘em. I wanna see…visit him. Can we can we can we?” Yawning, I smile at Rebecca and tug on her shirt, “Can we pwese go see, Alex? You had my curiosity, now you have my attention. I WANNA SEE HIM! PWEASE? PWEASE?” My eyes widen and lips puff outward, establishing my desire to visit her friend. “There’s a lot more furson Norterans than I first though. This is interesting, they must be shape shifters of some sort.”
Rebecca sighs and her heart begins to melt glancing at my pouty face, “Oh my God, Caiden, I hate it when you do that. You know I can’t say no to a face like that. Alright, off to see Alex we go then.”
Swinging my feet, I smile as her attention returns to the road, “Maybe we can have picnic too. Wait…” Whimpering, I bow my head, “Alex won’t tease me about being in diapees will he?”
Rebecca smirks, “He better not…or else he'll be getting a BEATING.” Her face and tone now portraying the gravity behind her threat. She starts to drive to the highway at 99 kmh. “Alright…To Alex's..” She says to herself, her face slowly turning red.
“Webeka, how come you blushing?” Giggling and swinging my feet, I reach over and place my hand on her shoulder, “Is dere somefing you’re not te-wing me?” Warmth surges through me as a subtle white light glows underneath my hand, “I wonder if something is more to Alex than meets the eye. Scanning…Person: Rebecca Richmond, Age: 21 Height: 5’ Mental Scan: 10% completed….20% completed……….75% complete….” Whimpering, I rescind my hand, “I said I wouldn’t enter someone’s mind again. I dun want Nikoletta to ‘pank me. No….No…I no wan dat.”
Averting my eyes to the road ahead, an old log cabin greets me. Scanning the area around us, nothing but golden fields span the distance. Blinking again, I spot a huge garage adjacent the building and a Pagani Huayra sitting next to a garden off shooting the house. As the car halts next to the pitch black exotic, “Webeka, is dat Alex’s house? And dat big building ova dere, is his garage?”
“Yep,” Cutting the engine, she hops out of her car and heads over to me. Smiling, she lifts me into her arms along with the baby bag.
Approaching the door, she sets me on my feet and knocks, “Alex, are you there?”
“Indeed I am.” Responds a voice from behind us.
“?!Alex?” Rebecca looks around.
A black and white wolf then appears behind the both of them. He appeared to be wearing a grey ripped up shirt, a black shiny jacket, dark blue jeans, and shiny black shoes with the words ''Osiris'' on them. “Hello, Beac.” The wolf smiles, inching closer to her.
The ferret's face turns completely red. “..H..Hi,A..Alex..” Rebecca said nervously.
“See, yous blushing again!” Giggling, I scan Rebecca then her wolf friend, “My Oniichan did the same thing before he met Nikoletta-neechan and now they weally wike each other.” Wadding over to Alex, I smile, “Do you wike Rebecca-neechan, Alex?”
Alex blinks twice as he stares at me then to Rebecca who’s still blushing, “Uh, Beac, who’s this little guy? Did you have a kid or something since last we met?”
“Acourse not, mister!” Crossing my arms and pouting, “My name’s Caiden Alexandria, younger brother of Ycatsaius Alexandria and Nikoletta Davidetcher, High Elders of I.C.C.E.” Scanning his face, I smile, “You’re pretty cool, Alex. So, do you and Webeka wike each other or not?” Watching his face glow red, I chuckle, “see now yous blushing. You two gotta wike each other. Dere’s no other way,” Circling them, I rub my chin, detective juices flowing, “dere isn’t any other way to explain it. After all, ‘only one truth prevails’ as Conan Edogawa always says.”
Alex sighs as he scans me, then turns to Rebecca, “Beac, so this is the kid you’re babysitting, Caiden Alexandria? Humph,” Scanning my ensemble, he blinks twice then faces Rebecca again, “Um…what is he wearing?”
“H-H-He's wearing a onesie…” Rebecca replies, nervousness edging her voice.
“..A onesie..? Really?” rebuttals the wolf as if he is about to laugh.
“Don't laugh, he's only a baby.” Rebecca argues, anger spiking with her voice.
Alex laughs, “A BIG Baby.”
Rebecca snarls, “Shut up, Alex! You’re hurting his feelings!”
Anger boils within me as Alex’s laughs pelt my ears. “I thought I had gotten away from bullies. I thought that only other kids would give me issues about this, but not an adult. If anything I…I’d expect…” “You…you…BIG MEANIE!” Tears well in my eyes as rush toward Rebecca, crying. “ALEX IS A MEANIE! I…I… WAAAAAH!” Burying my head in Rebecca’s chest, “why does everybody hafta waff at me cause I wear diapers and wike dwessing wike dis. It’s…it’s…it’s not fair! What…what…what gives him the…the…WAAAAH! I…I thought adults were aposed ta be matowa and…and…”
Cuddling closer to Rebecca, she rubs my back and pats my padded bottom. “I’m sorry, Caiden.” Training her rage filled eyes on Alex, she growls, halting his laughter straightaway. “..You JACKASS!! How could you do that to a fucking baby?!''
Alex stepped back, waving his hands in defense. ''I didn't MEAN to make the little guy cry..” Alex's ears flattening in sadness moments after.
Rebecca puts me down for a second and turns back to him, “This is for hurting his feelings, you JERK!!” My eyes widen in shock as Rebecca gives Alex a HUGE uppercut, sending him down to the ground, knocked out. “You’re the worst friend I've ever gotten! ...Come on, Caiden...let's go..” Rebecca picks up me and puts me in my carseat. “...What a jerk…Hurting a poor little child like that…How’d he like it if I made fun of him for still wearing diapers..?!” Rebecca retorts, brooding as she speeds down the highway.
Whimpering, my eyes waiver toward the golden blurs of the fields that pass us by. “I’m sorry, Rebecca. I…I didn’t think that Alex would do that to me. I…I can’t believe he…he…” Sniffling, I squirm in my carseat and bow my head. “I…I only thought dat kids were imatoor wike dat. I neva spected adults ta be wike dat tho. It don’t…don’t.” Sighing, I reach into the baby bag at my feet and pull out my bottle. Smiling at the strawberry lemonade within, I pop the bottle into my mouth and begin sucking it down. “Ahh, nuffin wike cold strawberry lemonade in a temperature controlled baby bottle. Thankies, Webeka!”
While emptying the bottle, I sigh and fill the seat of diaper. Tossing the now empty bottle to the floor, I cross my arms and pout as a subtle hissing hovers on the air. “Webeka, I neva wanna see him again. I fink you should get somebody else ta work on ya cwa too. I knows a weal good mechanic in South Amelia. He’s a warm hearted person and is always kind to everyone, even if they’re different. Alex was a big meanie, and I feel sorry for him that he can’t empeehize wit otha peoples.”
“..I'm never talking to that bastard ever again…I'll find another boyfriend…” She says to herself. “..We are NEVER seeing him again, Caiden…I hope he likes losing his only girlfriend.”
Sighing, my eyes find the floor of the car and I swing my feet. “Rebecca, can we go to the park, pwese?”
“Sure, Caiden.” Ruffling my hair, she floors the gas pedal. The Bugatti roars loud as she shifts into third, speeding into downtown Amelia, “But first, let’s get something to eat and we’ll have our picnic. How’s some salads from Wendy’s sound?”
Smiling as a string of fast food places pass us, “Cool, Webeka! I want Strawberry Fields Chicken Salads! Those are weally good. Wet’s get four of them and some large drinks!”
“Alright, alright, Caiden. I can see you’re already feeling better.” Rebecca chimes as she pulls into Wendy’s drive thru.
“Uh huhs! I’ll bet you’ll find a new boyfriend at da park too.”
Grabbing the salads and drinks from the window, she nods and speeds off, “I hope so, Caiden. I hope so.”
“Webeka, dun be down bout it. I know you’ll find another boyfwend, and plus he’ll love you for who you are and he won’t make any stupid mistakes cause I’ll be wight there to kick him in the shin if he does!”
Rebecca giggles and smiles. “Thanks, little bro.” Moments later, they’re walking into the park. “Alright let's…” Her words fall short when she spots Alex and his friends. “...Shit...”' Rebecca says to herself. “...Why are they here..?” She growls and sighs.
“Webeka, whas da matter?” Glancing in the distance, I spot the wolf from before accompanied by two others of the same species. “Gweat, he’s hewe, I just hope he doesn’t….”
“Rebeeca,” He chimes as he and his friends walk over to us.
“…come ova hewe.” Whimpering, I clutch Rebecca’s hand tight as she shoves me behind her before facing Alex and his friends.
“Why are you here?”
“It’s a free country, Becca, we can be here if we want. I didn’t come here to start trouble. I want to apologize…to Caiden.”
My ears flicker at his words, “Did I hear him wight? Did he say he wanted to apologize?” Stepping from behind Rebecca, I face Alex and his friends. The latter step back the moment their eyes meet me. “What’s their problem, it’s not like…whatever.” “Awex, do you mean yoos sowee for what yoos said bout me?” While Alex stands there dumbfounded, I cross my arms and pout, “Awex, what are yoo gonna say ta me?”
“Yeah Alex,” one of the wolves chides, “I can’t believe you actually bad mouthed a little kid, man.”
“Yeah, totally not cool man. I have a little sister ya know, if you had of done that to her I woulda knocked you flat on your ass.”
“Heh,” I smirk, “Webeka alweady did dat, and um…stop saying dem words, those is bad and my Oniichan said if yoo say em, your tongue’ll fall out.”
Rebecca smirks at Alex and his friends, “Heh heh, Caiden’s straight telling them off. Wow, this kid is something.”
“Caiden,” Alex kneels down, smiling, “I’m sorry for laughing at you. Will you forgive me?”
Pouting, I face the ground, pondering my decision. “Well……” Giggling, I glance into his ruby red eyes, “I’ll forgibe yoos on one condition, change me and we’ll call it even.”
Alex swallows his heart, “What?”
“You heard him, Alexander change him.” Rebecca repeats, an evil smirk decorating her face.
The wolf sighs. “...Alright…where's the bag?”
Rebecca gives Alex the baby bag and Alex lays me down in the car so he can start changing me. He takes me out the messy diaper and throws it in the nearby trash can. “...Ugh..” Alex scowls in disgust as he grabs a wipe from the bag and wipes me clean. Afterwards, he powders my bottom with the baby powder then tapes a new diaper around my waist. “..There, happy?”
Giggling and sucking my thumb, I shake my head, “Na uh!” Rising to my feet, I tackle Alex and rest on his chest squealing in delight. “You and I have some things to discuss.”
“For a little kid, you’re pretty strong. I…I can’t even move.”
Smiling, I nod, “Of course you can’t, my tendril defensive system is keeping you pinned to the ground. Thankfully, I learned from Oniichan how to cloak my abilities and still be able to use them. It may not be at its full strength, but it’s enough.” “I wan yoo ta make Webeka happy. I wan yoo ta feed me my lunch. Webeka and I came here for a picnic and well…I’m hungwy. I noticed your friends seemed a little frightened when they saw me. You wanna know why that is…You wanna how I got these scars?”
“Wha….what?”
Giggling, I crawl off his chest and hold my hand out to him, “Sowee, dat’s my favwite wine from Batman: The Dark Knight. Anyways, I wan you to feed me. By the way, your friends was scared cause,” Inching close to him, my voice lowers, “they’ve seen my abilities. They know what Zentalis are capable of and know that my family and two-thirds of the population are Zentalis. Do you think dat my Oniichan would take kindly to you bullying me? Rebecca went easy on you, my Oniichan wouda been a lot harder on you, twust me.” Rising from our secret conversation, I smile at Rebecca, “Webeka, wet’s eat.”
“Very well, Caiden.” Rebecca smiles as she retrieves the salads from the passenger side. Returning to us, she lays a blanket out in front of us along with the salads and forks.
Smiling, I waddle over to her, dragging Alex with me, “Now, you’re gonna feed me, but beweave me, it won’t be easy.”
Sighing, he sits down on the blanket and I crawl into his lap. Grabbing the salad and the fork, he spears it and delivers it to my mouth, only for me to turn away and pout. “Come on, kid, you’ve gotta eat. I already said I’m sorry for bullying you. Please eat?”
Alex’s friends chuckle at the torment he’s receiving at my hands, praying that they don’t receive the same just by being associated with him. Giggling, I face him and allow the food to delivered to my mouth. Chewing it a moment, I spit it back into his face and cough. Whimpering, I inch away, tears welling in my eyes, “I…I…I…WAAAAAH!” Falling onto my back, my cries echo around them. “Yep, I’m gonna torment Alex to the point that he’ll never make fun of me or anger Rebecca again.” Wailing and kicking my feet, “I wan my baba! I wan my baba! WAAAAH! Awex…Awex… I wan my baba! WAAAAAH!!!!!! THRTY! THRTY! WAAAAAAH!”
Alex starts to panic, scanning me confused. ''D-Don't cry! Don't cry! I'll give you your 'Baba'.'' Alex reaches into the bag and grabs a bottle. “Here.” He retorts, sternness staining his voice as he pushes my bottle toward me.
Rebecca watches as Alex tries to give me the bottle. “Alex, you’re an idiot, you have to…he’s hopeless. Although, I think Caiden’s doing this on purpose. He never gives me this much trouble.”
“Hunghnn…” Whimpering, I turn away each time he tries to give the bottle to me.
“Come on, kid! Take the stupid thing!”
Whimpering, I knock the bottle out of his hand, “WAAAAH! WEBEKA! WEBEKA! WAAAH!”
Smirking at Alex, Rebecca picks up my bottle and walks over to me. Lifting me into the air, she cradles me and hovers the bottle in front of me. Tears streaming down my face, I latch onto the bottle and begin sucking it down.
“HOW THE HECK DID YOU DO THAT!” Scanning Rebecca cradling and cooing to me while rocking me in her arms, “All that fuss to let you give him his bottle? He really is a big baby.” Scanning me contently nursing on the bottle, a smile breaks onto his countenance, “He’s kinda cute actually.”
Rebecca cranes her neck to him, her ears flickering, “What did you say?”
Alex's ears flatten. “..Er..I said he's kinda cute..”
Rebecca glares at him then focuses her gaze on the ground. “..I hope your new girlfriend loves your rude and crude attitude, Alexander..”
The wolf's ears perk up at her words, “..W…What do you mean by that..?”
Anger welling inside, Rebecca glares at him again. “..Take a large guess…”
Giggling, I wag my tongue at him as I hop out of Rebecca’s arms and waddle over, smiling, “Yoos weally stupid. Webeka don’t wike yoo no mores. When a people dun wike you, dey stwp tawk’n and avoid dat person foreva.”
Smirking at Alex, Rebecca lifts me into the air and places me over her shoulder, “It’s over, Alexander. Come on, baby bro, let’s get out of here, something wreaks and I know it isn’t you.”
Purring, I burrow my head in the crook of Rebecca’s neck, “Webeka, did I say anyfing bad?”
“Nope, little one, you did perfectly.” Smiling, she straps me into my carseat and kisses my forehead. Strapping herself into her seat, the engine roars to life. Smirking at Alexander, the rear wheels begin smoking as she floors the pedal while engaging the handbrake. Flipping Alexander off, she releases the handbrake and roars out of the park, leaving Alexander and his friends in a cloud of smoke and burning rubber.
Chuckling, I scan Rebecca, “Dat was funny, Webeka! I weally hope you find another boyfwend though.” Sighing, I snuggle into the comfortable carseat and watch the golden fields speed by in a blurred pool. “I weally hope Webeka finds a new boyfwend.” “Webeka, where’s we goin’ nows?”
Rebecca sighs in depression, “..Anywhere you want, hun...” She retorts as if she’s about to cry.
“Webeka…” Bowing my head, I swing my feet attempting to decide a plan of action, “Webeka...Webeka stwp da cwa.” Smiling at her when she pulls to the side of the road, I wiggle in my carseat and turn to her, “Wet me out, Webeka.” Free of my carseat moments later, I crawl over and sit in her lap. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I bury my head in her chest, “Don’t be stwessed, Rebecca-neechan. I dun want you ta cwy, I hate seeing yoos cwy.”
“I…I just broke up with the only person that loves me, Caiden.” Sniffling, she wraps her arms around me and rubs my back, “I can’t help but cry.” Wiping her eyes, she nuzzles her head in my hair, “Rebecca’s sorry, Caiden. I need to be strong for you. I’m your babysitter and I should be strong.” Pulling me out to her eyes, “I still have you after all, baby bro and you’re all the family I need. Honestly, you made me feel loved again and…” Tearing up, her voice breaks as she buries her head in her hands.
Determination etched into my countenance, I pull her hands down, “Webeka, stwp it! Stwp cwying.” Smiling, I dab her tears with my hand, “Webeka, I wove you, you have me, your baby brother. I…I…I might not be able to find you a boyfwend, but I’ll always be for you. I’m confident dat you’ll find one tho, you’re a stwong person and anyone who can’t see past the fact that you have a little brother who loves being babied, they’re big stupid heads. If they can’t take you as you are and can’t accept evebodie in our widdle famwee, they’re jus stupid.”
Giggling as I’m hugged again, contented purring echoes around the car. The moment our embrace ends, I’m secured in my carseat and the roads begin to pass by us again. “Webeka, I wove you so much! I’ll destwy anyone dat twys ta hurt yoo again. If I see Alex again, he’ll regret the day he upset you.”
Rebecca stops crying and smiles. “..Thanks, baby bro..” She replies in a nice tone. “You’re the best..”
“I knows dat, Webeka!” Giggling as our car comes to a stop in front of our house. I smile and raise my arms to her. “I wove you, Rebecca-neechan!”
“I love you too, baby brother!” Approaching my carseat, she unstraps and lifts me into the air. “You’re the best thing that ever happened to me.” Smiling, she places me over her shoulders and pats my padded bottom. “Come on, let’s get inside and get you changed.”
Purring in contentment, I’m carried inside and brought into my room. Smiling up at her as she lays me on the changing table, I begin sucking my thumb. Stretching around, I flood my diaper and sigh in relief as she unsnaps my onesie. Pulling the tapes of the garment, the soiled garment is removed and my legs are lifted so she can remove it from underneath me. Sucking my thumb in bliss, I watch as she wipes me clean and tosses the soiled diaper and wipes in the diaper pail. Smiling, my bottom is lowered onto a clean diaper, my tail is threaded through, and the front is pulled up to my belly. Giggling as she blows a raspberry on my exposed belly, she tapes the diaper snug around my waist and snaps the onesie back in place.
“Webeka,” I smile as I’m placed on my feet and kissed on my forehead, “whatcha wanna do now? We’ve alweady pwayed my gwames, we went to the park, and I’m outta ideas on fun stuffs ta do.” Crossing my arms and pouting, I waddle over to the rocking chair. Smiling at me, she reclines in the chair and lifts me into her lap. “Rebecca, I’m bored.”
Rebecca sighs. “...So am I, baby bro..” She retorts, a depressing tone etched in her voice.
“Um…Rebecca…” I swallow my heart as I ponder telling her everything about me. “Webeka, I have somefing to show you.” Rising from her lap, I stand a meter away and close my eyes. “AAAAHHHHH!” As my scream echoes across the room, my purple aura pools at my feet. Facing Rebecca, I smile and said aura grows around me straightaway. “Webeka, I have some ‘splaining ta do. I…I…I have abilities that are very strong.” Rebecca stares, confused as the purple tails inch toward her, then hover around me. “My family all has these abilities that vary and they are called Zentalis abilities. I…I…I hated hiding it and I just wanted to show you. I…I just hope you don’t fink I’m weird or nuffin.” Exhaling deeply, the aura and the tendrils vanish. Wadding over to her, I climb back into her lap and cuddle close. “So,” I smile up at her, “what do yoo fink, Webeka?”
“..W..Wow..” Rebecca utters, surprised. She’s never seen something like this before.
“Well, whaddya, fink? You…you dun fink I’m a mutant or nuffin do ya? Yoo…yoo aren’t scwed of me is yoo?” Whimpering, I shift in her lap. Fear swelling inside of me, hissing echoes around the room, followed by subtle toots as I soak and fill my diaper in complete fear of what she’ll say or do next.
Scanning her solemn face, tears well in my eyes, “Pwese dun hate me, Rebecca-neechan. I…I was jus curweeus and bored and I decided ta show dis off and…and now…” Bowing my head, I face the floor and swing my feet, awaiting her answer as a prisoner the gallows. “I weally scwed dis up. She’s gonna hwte me fa sura.”
Rebecca gets up and hugs the sad little kitten. “..I don't hate you. I just never knew you had powers…You’re a gifted child...” Rebecca replies, smiling at me.
“Weally?” Training my fear laden eyes on her, I scoot closer with a squish and whimper, “Yoo…yoo weally fink dat…yoo weally fink dat I’m gwife’ed?” Bowing my head, I scan the floor and my socks, “So, yoo no hwte me and yoo no mind dat me and mah famwee have dees powas? Yoo…yoo not scwred of me or dem? Yoo dun fink we’re fweks wike…wike Alex said.”
Exhaling deeply and flexing her fingers, she calms her nerves and faces me, “How did Alex manage to say that without me hearing?”
“He was talking to that Cascada fewine ‘bout me. I fink dere gonna be boyfwend and girlfwend now. At weast dat’s what I got from my mind anyways.” Whimpering, I bury head in Rebecca’s shirt, “He…he has a wot of bad thoughts in his head, Webeka. Wots and wots of bad bad thoughts. He…he…he and Cascada…dey…dey…” Tears well in my eyes as the images flash through my mind. “Dey did horrible stuffs ta peoples, not jus yoo, Webeka. Dey…dey…I can’t gwet those thoughts outta my mind.” “Come on, Caiden, get ahold of yourself, they can’t reach me here. I just gotta calm down. Dey aren’t Zentawis so dey can’t have their minds wead by more than one Zentalis evewee ten weeks and by den they’ve probably forgotten what they thought anyway.”
Rising from my hiding spot, I face Rebecca, “When I meets peoples I perform a mental scan and dat’s how I determine whether or not I can trust someone. Cascada and Awex couldn’t be twusted. I…I couldn’t tell yoo cause I didn’t want yoo ta know bout my abilities and end up hwting me for it.” Sniffling, I feel my bladder and bowels release again and the smell wafts around the room as I bury my head in Rebecca’s shirt. “Dis ability is both a bwessing and a curse. I gwess it one of things that came with me being an eternally youthful child. Dat and habing wots and wots of energy all da time.”
Rebecca swallows her heart, surprised at my words. “..I guess Alexander and Cascada are together huh...” She says to herself. “...I guess…this world really does hate me...” She sighs and picks me up. Staring down at me, face void of emotion, she puts me on the changing table and starts to change me. When she finishes two minutes later, I watch her vanish behind the doors of her room without a clue as to her reasons.
“I have a bad fwelling bout dis.” Waddling toward her room, I knock on the door. “Webeka….” No answer, I knock louder, tears welling in my eyes, “WEBEKA OPEN DA DOOR!!!!!!!!!! IF…IF DUN OPEN DA DOOR I FORCE IT DOWN MYSELF! OPEN DA DOOR! OPEN DA DOOR!”
Rebecca still doesn’t reply. All that I hear is sobbing.
“Webeka!” Exhaling deep, a purple beam of light jettisons from my chest, pelting the door and opening it straightaway. Spotting my babysitter on her bed crying, I waddle over to her as fast as my little legs can carry me. “Webeka…Webeka…” Sniffling, I crawl on her bed and wipe her eyes once I reach her lying on her side. “Webeka, pwese stop cwying. Da world doesn’t hwte yoo, I dun hwte yoo. My famwee dun hwte yoo. REBECCA STOP ACTING WIKE DIS! STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!”
Realizing I just screamed at her, I back away, but my focus remains firm. “Rebecca-neechan, forget dem, dey dun matter. All dat matters is guess who? Yoos and mez dat’s it. We hab each otha and dat’s awl dat I care about. Dat’s awl should matter ta yoo too. Please stop crying, Rebecca. I dun wanna see you beating yourself up over two idiots dat dun even matter. I’m all dat should matter to you. I’M YOUR BABY BROTHER, REBECCA! IF YOU DUN CARE FOR ME NO ONE WILL.”
Whimpering, my eyes fall to the sheets and I cuddle close to her, wrapping my arms around her neck. “Pwese cheer up, Wabeka, pwese? Pwese cheer up, for mez. I dun want Rebecca-neechan to just give up cause of some bullies. If you want,” Inching away, I smile at her, “If you want, I can call my folks wight now and have them awest Cascada and Awex for aggravated assault and other bad

Caiden is awesome XD! Seriously, I tip my hat to him, putting Alex through the utter heck (trying to mind my language) that he did. And the line about the scars? Priceless XD! If you’re gonna try to intimidate someone, quoting the Joker is definitely a good way to do it. I’m glad that he stood up for Rebecca, too. :) Bravo, Caiden. Bravo. :)
