I guess retro is a matter of perspective. For me, it's 1940s-'60s, which probably says some thing about me. What does that say about folks who consider the '90s retro?

That is was just a matter of time. Remember in Back to the Future 2 where they mocked the idea that anyone could be nostalgic? Personally, I can see an especially strong wave of nostalgia happening for the last decade before 9/11, Gulf War 2 and any number of things. The thing I'm not looking forward to is bad 90's webpage design and KPT fractal clown barf becoming essential pieces of retro cool.
