Just something I wrote for school, and I thought I should post it here! Let me know what you think!

Music is commonly referred to as notes and rhythm put together, but using more than one sentence, you can describe it much better. Music is more than just sound waves recorded onto a file saved onto a disc. It changes a lot, just like the weather. It can use fifty instruments, or one instrument. However, it is much more than just this.
Music is emotion made somewhat tangible. These emotions can go into the words, the beats, or the notes. It can be about a real event, or living on a space boat. Sadly, this definition is fading and all we hear today are love songs. It is not wrong to write one, but there is no emotion, and when there is no emotion, then the songs have no notion, and we have no reason to listen if we have nothing to learn from them. I've realized that when songs are focused on emotion, it works like a potion where the stronger the focus, the louder the notion, and when there is no emotion, then there is no focus, and when there is no focus, there isn't even a notion.
Music is commonly referred to as notes and rhythm put together, but music is emotion put into these notes, this rhythm, and you'll know your notion is fine when everything wants to rhyme.
