Anyhoo, your description of the day/night cycle in sonnet form is just amazing. My favorite metaphor just has to be "golden lunar orb" in (stanza 2, line 1). Very beautiful. ^^

I love poetry quite a bit; it's become one of my favorite pastimes. Though, I'm afraid I'm not big on conforming to a preset style like the sonnet, so super-kudos to you for pulling it off so vividly. I'm glad I snooped around Furthling's page, or else I wouldn't have found this. =3

My genre of poetry is mostly "nature," so one could imagine just how overjoyed I was to be reading this. Almost all of my poems involve Her one way or another.

I must admit, the sonnet is one of my favorite forms, primarily because it is so much fun to read.

Some say I am entirely too pedantic in my conforming to the meter, but I find that even Shakespeare annoys me when he doesn't.
