I didn't know that you also had done an Art Trade with surzb. How awesome!
Surb has been a fun artist to watch. He really got better with his ponies from his first submission to the ones he did recently. Though it seems he is taking a bit of a break since I have not seen much from him as of late.
You did well in depicting his OC, Vitriol Ink. I can remember back when Vitriol was nameless and I did a story / art trade with him. I wrote the entire story without using a name at all. Was the first time I went all out in story writing with a nameless character. It was a fun experience despite how most weren't too excited in how the character had no name. *Shrugs*
It's been fun finding works folks have done as trades with Surb. So glad you did one, too, as you are quite the strong artist yourself. :)

Yikes. I remember this one XD I"m amazed with how much my style already changed from then to now. Maybe I'll redraw Vitrol sometime with mega-fluff.
I"m glad I depicted his OC well! I remember being worried at the time because this was the first art trade I'd ever done and i was afraid of representing the character wrong.
And I must look up that story sometime! I love the written word and quite often wish I could have the patience and talent to write a decent story. I tried doing so once on FimFic but the person who wanted to help me out was quite blunt and admitted I had more talent for art rather than storytelling. He did have a point though as I have more talent for the artstuffs rather than the written word. I still have so many ideas though.
Maybe if I ever get off of my lazy butt I'll do a comic or something.

A comic is a wonderful blend of art with the written word. One need not be a master of word lacing to do a comic. Rather draw a picture in which says what is going on while tossing a few words, thoughts, or sound effects in for good measure.
Definitely keep me posted on how you come along with developing a comic.

I tried a comic a looong time ago when I first got into art, went only to page seven (then again I was using ms paint at the time so it took forever anyway)
I'll probably do the comic on another story idea I had though. I just have no idea how to build it up yet since I don't have any idea on how to end it or what will even happen in the comic yet aside for one event....two events now XD I'll probably ask my friend for a bit of help on that front.
