Hahah, fur is one of those things I've been doing and tweaking since I started drawing, and it's been my biggest focus all along, so basically I have four whole years of fur practice... I'm glad it's payed off xD I'm sure you could do just as good if not better with some practice :P

very nice pic. awesome background too... windswept water is one of those hard things to do. to get it right you really need to be staring at a windswept body of water so that you have a reference.

as a fisherman i can tell you that is more of a river or stream look for the water. windswept lake is a different look entirely but then the entire surface of a lake is never windswept like that it is only generally in small triangular sections that you can actually see the wind working on the surface of the water. there is always good fishing in those spots too, but then i have been many many different places throughout the years, and primarily take pictures of landscapes and such; so unless they read this post or are a fisherman i doubt many people will notice.

Actually, this was -supposed- to be more or a river or stream, versus a lake. So I guess that I did a good job if you would have picked it out that easily xD I had pictured her crossing an icy river for some reason and that's the look I went for, I guess it worked :P Thanks :3

You say you put a lot of effort into this one and it shows. As always the fur is top-notch, and shes a beautiful figure to see, but the swirly distorted reflections in the water, and the trees and sky in the background really push this image to the next level. Beautiful. I can't imagine how much patience you must have for something like this.

If you do scale back the adult pics in favour of more "arty" pieces like this is, I for one won't be disappointed.

Actually it only took about three days, I could have finished it sooner but I was distracted by anger and tf2 videos. xD

I can't say for sure what'll happen with me artwise, I just sorta let happen whatever happens. But I'm just not feeling as into adult stuff at the moment. I'm sure it'll come and go, but I've been thinking for some time that it's time to start putting more effort into stuff *nods*

Hmmm.... y'know, the water is alright actually, not that badly done. However, if you insist on making them look more realistic, look up on waves, as they are windswept water basically, or you could find a picture of a rapid and tone it down... albeit by a lot.

You know, as much as you were complaining about it, you did the water pretty well XD Like I said, it still works, whether you want to say it does or not. I still say wind does very little to the whole body of water, which is why it's not only convincing, but still believable even if you were to look at it carefully.
