This is a sword that I have cut from a metal awning structure I found behind a Burlington Coat Factory. I cut it out with a grinder ( I know its not the right tool to use, but I dont have a metal cutting wheel, reciprocating saw blade, or torch) and cleaned it up as best I could. I sharpened one side to look sharp, but its still kinda dull.
It's a WIP because I am trying to think of a good handle solution, and a good way to shield the hand. I am thinking of an old kettle or maybe and old small pot I have in my shed that I can just cut a piece out and slide it into place. Sadly that still leaves me in need of a handle. But we will see what happens.

I have thought about that, but ultimately, it would make the katar off balance and its way too narrow to fit wit the bulky katar.. and i dont know how to wrap the leather around the hilt so it stays... i really want to.. but.. aaahhhh!!!! thank you for your ideas though ^^ means a lot!
