Annually, around the 10th of July I upload this as a gesture of my artistic improvement (every 10th of July I have an anniversary on The Lion King Fanart Archive, where I started taking art seriously)
Seemingly, since 2012 I didn't improve by much. However deep inside I was trying to figure out whether I am a realistic artist or a cartoonistic... I guess I found myself somewhere in the middle. Too bad I am always occupied with something with prevent me from drawing often- last year it was finals, this year it's the military service >_<
By the way, those of you who wonder- this is Amani, he was my very first original character and was meant to be Kovu and Kiara's son.
I hope you guys will enjoy the result!

I just have to say that I see a lot of improvement in your anatomy since 2012, with a lot more muscle definition than it had before. I know a lot of artists who really struggle with that but you have a very nice style and I love the combination of realistic and cartoon in your work. :')
This is an inspiring idea. The closest thing I have done is kept a crappy portfolio. And I enjoy the style you have. Heck I only have a watch list of 170 and your on it <3. Being in between realistic and cartoonish is almost perfect for furries. And as for drawing more often, just fit it in when you can, just as long as you don't ever give it up! Keep up the awesome work, people like me really enjoy it. :D
this is really cool. I always love looking at how artist progress in their art. it's just so amazing, to see someone start out from point A and then threw practice and experimentation reach point B and sooner or later they will make it to point C. Your art is getting better and better by the second. don't stop. your work is just amazing.
What I see is an evolution of your voice in visual format. So, you might not see much progression, but I see a confidence growing in each stroke you put down. :) Progress in art isn't linear, so don't get sidetracked by that, ever. Just always pull your inspiration from everyone and everything all the time- even art movements you don't love. We grow when we are constantly stepping out of the comfortable room. Don't stop! /soapbox
