Some of ya were probably wondering why I bought that YCH from SunTattooWolf
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13957971/
Well it’s because this was the idea I had for it.
Not every artist starts out as great as
nateday or
shin0r0z or a
Skech6ix ( I totally taught him how to color inside the lines )
They all have to start somewhere near the bottom, and getting up to the top is a long and sometimes painful journey of victories and failures. So in this image portrays what is probably just one of my naïve beliefs which is encouragement. Growing artists much like children need our encouragement as much as they need art supplies and ideas. To help them feel the motivation to get better and continue to grow in whatever adventure they seek out.
So when you see an artist still growing in their shell. Please don't step on that fragile egg that is their world, help it stay warm in the nest so that it may hatch into something beautiful.

It's also a very powerful message. Everyone has to start somewhere, and with the right motivation and encouragement, the sky is the limit as to what you can do. If you stay focused on your goal to improve, it will happen. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12923142/
Determination is the key to success.
Drayk, I hope the original artist sees this post, and I hope it re-kindles her artistic flame.

everyone starts somewhere at lvl 1, and its through expirience and hard work that we get better
ive been drawing since i was 3 and every day i get just a little bit better.
so to all the artists out there reading this. keep drawing. if you love it keep drawing. never stop. you can take breaks but never give up and NEVER compare yourself to other artists!
a kind comment goes a long way

If you want to art, just keep trying to art. If one kind of art just isn't working out, try another until you find what works for you, be that writing, music, sculpture, crafts, indirectly as a patron for other artists, whatever. Never compare yourself to other people, especially when you're starting out. Create for yourself first and other people second.
Progress! Eight or nine years ago or so (drew it back in high school), Five years ago (Cheesecake, though who doesn't treat FA as NSFW at all times) and from a year ago.
Its kind of hard to really show off my progress, though, since I rapidly went from drawing cute clean fantasy stuff to delving deep into fetish-heavy porn. :V (My only regret is that I have less to show other people. :P)

Heavily changing subject matters w/o focusing on linework and anatomy can make it difficult to progress in those areas.. You want to focus more on those and less on the Activities your art focuses around would be my simple thinking there. But hey I give you credit for just drawing for that amount of time and not stopping.
really sweet, i also sometimes commission unknown artists, or just do some shoutout journals sometimes may brighten up someones day more than you could think. just got a pic from a yet unknown artist for another friend. so i made 2 people happy with one comish :D http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13874091/
This....just this....
I believe the obligation of
every artist and creative person is to encourage the newcomers
and others to always try and never give.
It may be cliche no matter how it may sound,
but it works. Artist who don't do this......there is
something wrong with them.

i agree to this and also had meany troubles along the way sometimes i still do but i grow as an artist and feel encouraged by the positive reinforcement given... it feels so good knowing my art brings smiles and inspires imagination and even more ideas just as your work has ^_^ so as it was given to me and i give to you ^_^ keep up the grate work and lets all inspire each other and the world ^_^ we all start small ^_^
I can't believe I am only just seeing this. I have no idea who you are, what your art looks like aside from this image - YET, lol I'm definitely about to look though - but, you have won my heart with this image and your comments. This is so freaking true. Younger artists should be encouraged and not trolled, like I have seen multiple times. They are our new generation of artists and I think that deserves to be nurtured and loved. Thank you for this post. It's amazing.
honestly rainy days reading the comments on bed makes me cry that I never caught to far up in trying to find that answer from anyone else but for my mouth xD
it must so out of reach now or so simple that I kinda feel traditional and I was too poor to leave the digital era xD;
