This is a scene from a short story I wrote around the same time. Vlad has a dream where he is lost in this maze of corridors as Satan, disguised as a dragon, stalks him. As he walks, he meets people from his life that have made various impacts on him, like Catalina and Daniel. Veronika isn't in it though (before her creation)
In this scene, he is basically walking down a corridor showered in dim ocean blue lights, waiting for the dragon to appear.

Considering the short story has pro-Christian themes in it, I submitted it for a contest in a Christian magazine. It didn't win, but it has a local following.
