I really like the effect you got with the sunlight on the water. It almost looks like a crystal volcano spewing forth a glowing stream of lava straight into the air. Nice capture!

That is just amazing. The timing and the placement of the light. Totally stunning!

Just lots of rocks! It's easier than it looks. This series was done alone but I had me mum pitching rocks for me that evening and had no problem getting the timing down. In fact I was getting three pics perfectly, entrance splash and after-math quite consistently. It's really neat to see a shot where the rock is about an inch or so from the surface and reflected in it. I'm not about to flood with the dozens of variations of course (save that for LJ!) Liquid dynamics and light, color reflection and refraction, sweet stuff.

thought it was a bon fire then saw the water and was like what the?! then remember from photo class i faild cause not hveing camera but learnd the science of it and timeing and fstops or what not ^^

It's actually very easy to do. More so if your camera can do a nice fast three-shot burst. It's a fun thing to do if there's not much going on.
