Patterat and Tetherfet

First artwork of July! I've been wanting to draw Patterat again for a while, and also introduce a new character. I think Pat is overdue for a friend. The blue gal's name is Tetherfet, and it seems Patterat is enjoying the colorful flare of her wings
Fun facts about the Dratter;
Though highly intelligent creatures, Dratter use very few tools, relying on their sharp talons and long proboscises to carve out a simple living on nectar and tree sap.
Dratter take on the colors of whatever flowers they feed on as they grow. At birth, newborns inherit the colors of their mother's choice flowers. Their tails are stubs; as they age, new scales propagate from their heads, moving their juvenile scales back as their tail grows. The new scales will change color with their diet. Siblings are easily identified by their matching tail colors.
Their wings are white at birth. Each set of cells inherits floral colors at different stages in a Dratter's life. Colorful wings are highly coveted, and as a result, many Dratter tailor their diet in order to achieve ideal wings. Juveniles are encouraged to have a diverse diet, lest they become monotone as adults. Dratter with too many colors or a seemingly random color scheme are often seen as indecisive or childish, while those with too few are seen as picky and judgmental.
Dratter have evolved a remarkable relationship with the Idriss tree, whose large orange flowers, once mature and spent, harden and close to form livable pods. In return for this living space, the Dratter are more than happy to care for and pollinate the flowers' progeny.
