Where to start, firstly, I have no idea how to post a picture of Derek but wish I did, I for one hope to be a winner of you artwork, it would be great, so to tell you about Derek, the reason why my puppy is so basically coloured is because when I first became a fur everyone was telling me how colourful and pretty there characters were, all I could see was the same colours, black, white and grey, yes from those who haven't figured out yet, I have canines eyes. A unique and interesting optical birth deficiency. The only colours I can see are black, white and grey. I didn't know this until someone showed me a picture of a rainbow that they had taken, I couldn't see it. When I was creating Derek my "Mother" (Roleplay friend who helped give birth to Derek" asked me what colours I wanted, when I explained to her what colours I could see and couldn't she was shocked, her and I discussed it for a few days before finally coming to what Derek looks like now. The one spot on his left eye represents the accident in my year two class. I was with a friend at the time who had set an alarm on a timer which had the same ring as the school bell, I of course at the time was drawing with a led pencil, the minute the bell from the clock went of I threw my head down stabbing the pencil onto my left I leaving a permanent led marking. So yeah. I know that I probably won't be chosen but if I do, I hope you have as much fun drawing me as I do.
