I'm way behind, but this is my take on the Thursday Prompt couple of weeks ago titled 'surrender'. I thought I'd try something different, and a particularly windy day here inspired me to try writing a story in 100-words.
Veeran and the wind.
Story by me.

That is true also. One needs to find a happy medium, I guess. Perhaps part time working would be the answer, but I would have to earn a lot more before I could do that... I must admit, I do occasionally find it rather depressing to think that I will no be working until I retire, which is like 40 years from now. O_o
Ingenious. That's a challenge, trying to fit a meaningful story into a hundred words. Great little piece, this truly captured the one moment, one feeling into words and thus immortalizing it. I enjoyed reading this very much.

Thanks very much! I love Metassus's 365-word stories. ^_^ I don't mean to be so presumptuous as to assume that you will read and comment on all of my stories, but I should just point out that the Veeran/Cody stories start with Grief, which wasn't a TP submission. If you read this first, you started in the middle. I don't mind which order you read them in, but it might not make quite as much sense. Just so you know, you probably knew that already anyway. ^_^
I enjoyed writing a really short story, and took the idea a step further in my 'Library' submission. ^_^
