Here's a new regression story that I'm working on. It involves the Mario characters and a mysterious star meteor.

Out on the open fields by the mushroom kingdom, Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy are having themselves a nice picnic. The four are enjoying some delicious sandwiches courtesy of the chefs back at the kingdom.

Mario: These are some delicious sandwiches princess.

Peach: Thank you mario, they are quite exquisite.

Daisy: All that's missing now are some nice drinks to wash'em down.

Luigi: Oh no, I forgot the beverages!

Daisy: Not again Luigi!

Just then, Toad appears from afar with the basket of drinks.

Toad: Hey guys, you forgot this.

Mario: Thanks Toad.

Peach: We really appreciate it.

Luigi: I'll go get'em.

The tallest of the brothers takes his leave to go retrieve the beverages from Toad. As soon as he makes it halfway across the field, a strange object in the sky begins to appear. The object appeared to be some kind of strange rock. While this occurred, Luigi began to start conversation with Toad.

Luigi: Thanks again Toad.

Toad: No problem, I was thinking if you guy wouldn't mind Toadette and I joining in too.

Luigi: We would be happy that the two of you joined us.

Toad: Thanks Lui... hey what's that thing in the sky.

The mushroom points to the steadily approaching object. Upon closer look, the falling rock appeared to have a star embedded within it's surface. The star also seemed to have a strange clock-like face on it's surface. Both Luigi and Toad soon took notice that the object was heading towards Mario, Peach, and Daisy.

Luigi: It's heading for them!

Toad: We gotta warn them quick!

The two dropped the drinks and began running to the others to get their attention.

Luigi: LOOK OUT!

The green plumber was waving his hands frantically with Toad following behind while trying to warn the others.

Daisy: Hey, where's the drinks you too!?

She sees the two trying to alert them, but she can't make out what they're saying.

Daisy: What!?

Both Luigi and Toad then point towards the star rock, but just then the impending meteor was in very close proximity already. Mario, Peach, and Daisy soon turned their attention to the it, but as soon as they did it was already too late. An explosion of bright stardust erupted, and Luigi and Toad were blown away by the blast. The two were rendered unconscious while five sudden lights were shot out of the impact.
