to bad you can never fight the sun, i mean he could be replace by his brother the moon (who is literally giving you the moon) and than you have to defeat him. or the sun could just turn around and moon the player, and have to defeat him a second time.

Fff use some tea bags on your skin, works better than cream or aloe for me. I have a sun allergy and for short bursts outside, I use that. Longer stays involve blisters and medication >.<

I was stuck outside in a queue to get into the London Film & Comic convention during the midday sun... for 5 and a half to 6 hours... waiting to get in. We, my mum and I, left as early as usual so we thought we'd get in line very close to the doors as we usually do. Bloody train delay at Brighton causes us to lose an hour of that early start and we ended up on the other side of the building to start the queue... and since we hadn't expected to be in the sun for very long at all (or that it was going to be anywhere NEAR that much of a scorcher of a day), we didn't bring any sun-cream/UV protection.

why do i miss all these conventions man ;_; id make so much mint at them

This isn't an art one... you can't hire a table for it or anything unless you're like a major comic book artist or are selling mass-produced goods like american foods or masses of trading cards or plushes, etc.

I think you'd do great if you managed to go to Confuzzled at some point though, or one of the smaller (in style/name only...) cons like the ExCeL anime expo or such...

been to the anime expo before and I'm not to swain by confuzzled to be honest id have to go with someone to this things or i would be board outa my mind for sure

id probably have athe den with andy and rob n such ya know. they generally get good attension and with my level of work there with the colours i use and such generally gets people looking a fair amount :]

actually, the face and neck barely hurt at all... it's my left arm that hurts the most and looks like I've stuck my arm in a fire... Full on 1st degree burns victim style look... (without the blisters, thank gawd!)

Mine is worse. Both my legs are swollen because they are burned so bad. It actually hurts to cross them or walk because of the pulling of the muscles.

I was lucky... I was thinking of wearing my pants rolled up into shorts. Glad I didn't or I'd be in that state too :(

I was out doing a river clean up in a kayak so I was in shorts and a tank top with my swimsuit underneath.

I just get off easy because my boss is my dad and the company is a family owned buisness

lol, well that's fair enough. That's what I'm in now, but my previous job I had a real asshat of a boss. I still cannot believe that he called me "unreliable" for having 3 sick days off IN A YEAR... all 3 times involving illnesses that I could have potentially infected half the customers with (I was a cashier in a food store, so I'd have been touching all their groceries).
You'd think he'd see me as more responsible for taking the time off rather than risking an epidemic that could end up with the entire store being shut to be cleaned...

My last boss was an asshat as well. Next time I see him I am going to look him dead in the eye and say "I found a job where I can sit on my ass all day playing on the computer, and I am making $10 an hour with no stress. Go back to your failing business."

heh, we seem to be in very similar positions (though don't let my dad know that... he doesn't know what I do when I'm upstairs on the computer while he's out working for the customer/s XD)
