There was a whole lot of nothing that was bid on this year. My friend was saying it was a shocker just to see how many things, especially in the mature section didn't have any bids. If it is still here next year it will be up for $20 instead of $50 (it is quite large compared to the others and the material is expensive). It's now in a local gallery.
I was also told that for someone's first year in the Art Show, having two pieces sell is quite good (one of them almost went to voice auction), so I am happy with that.

It is indeed difficult for artists who don't have a well known name, to make sales, as a lot of people only look for art by popular artists they already know of. So, it's wonderful that you did as well as you had. :)
