Both Hayley and Ciel both love the concept of flying. Hayley wanted to be able to fly herself, to feel the wind in her face and flying at high speeds. Ciel wanted to be a pilot, to learn how to operate, maintain, and fly a helicopter and be master of such flying machines. She did share some of the love of being able to fly on her own like Hayley as well. Such a dream seemed unobtainable until Hayley found her roommate and friend Autumn who had turned into a rather large and pudgy arcanine slime girl.
While her friend Autumn was usually a low energy and serious person, her drastic change into an Arcanine had given her boundless energy and a more joyful and easygoing personality. Though she still tends to be a bit serious still, Hayley found out she was easily distracted with a bouncy toy ball much to Autumn's annoyance. Upon finding out the reason was the newest roommate of the group, Lilac the large gooey dragon, Hayley had asked if there was a way for her to become a creature like Lilac or Autumn and be able to fly. After pondering a bit, Lilac said she could do it but only if she was certain about it.
Hayley, overjoyed at the thought of being able to fly, called Ciel immediately and told her everything. Ciel wanting to see this for herself drove over and met with Lilac and the changed Autumn with quite a shock. After hearing Hayley's plan to go through with the transformation, Ciel took a second to mull it over and decided to join with Hayley as well in the transformation feeling the opportunity was too good to pass up. After Hayley and Ciel both explained their different dreams for flight, Lilac smiled and pulled both of them into a big gooey hug. In seconds the slime from the goodra began to change the girl slowly into two different dragon type Pokémon.
When the transformation finished and both girls admiring their new bodies, they celebrated the change by taking to the air and doing laps in the sky.
