so will the creatures what come out be based off the effects the drugs have or the consequences?

They have powers based around the side effects, usually inducing those things in the victim so that they're easier to hunt and feed off of. But the designs themselves are more like what you already see in the egg design, I wouldn't say we're going to necessary see a physical manifestation of the power that isn't in the egg design. I typically just write a description to go with. (I wasn't 100% sure exactly what you were asking, sorry, it is late for me. So hopefully I have the answer in there somewhere.)
