Things just got even more complicated D:
After a few computer troubles, we're finally back with the next page of the collab crossover comic between
Waimbert and myself, where I write the story, Waimbert inks it out and I color it in and add the dialogue.
Feel free to comment ^^

Screw that! Sally's way too much of an independent woman to rely on a guy like him to solve her problems. At best he could show up and get Carmelita's attention which causes her to cuff Sally to something and run after Sly at which point Sally shows her resourcefulness by managing to pick the locks with maybe some quip about how she should have to rely on Sonic so many times to rescue her and now it's paid off.
I meant to say shouldn't have to rely on Sonic...
Anyway, I'm far more interested in Sally's interactions with Carmelita because it means the inspector isn't just the chick to Sly's sly thief nonsense that either says, they can't be together, he has to give up his job (yeah right), or she has to give up her life for him. And frankly, he's not quite mature enough for her, yet neither is Carmelita level-headed enough to deal with the issue just yet. And since Sly is the main hero (anti-hero), it just makes Carmelita a slight running joke when Sanzaru isn't making her an object to exploit in Sly 4. I actually feel sorry for her.

I mostly meant Sally getting kissy-faced with Monkey Khan without being the slightest bit accurate to her character or just plain rational/logical. The fact her disfigured new look was originally going to be simple Go-Go Enslavement (trope name) shows they have no respect for her either. Hell, even Julie-Su got a little girly around Knuckles as they let off some PDA before she got written out with the whole Slash the Character Who Needs to Die...err um..."Tasmanian Devil". I guess Amy is the only girl who gets to have respect unless Ian made her himself.
I know. Before it even came to disfigure...err um..."redesigning" them, they should have just resolved the SatAM connections and moved on rather than produce further loads of bullshit that was equally poorly drawn. I can say quite assuredly that I can no longer find joy in the thought of the comic. I still love the SatAM cast and most of the Penders characters, but Flynn and Kaminski turned it into a maddening pile of shit.
