this species was originally bred by witches and wizards as pets and as a sort of lab rat for curses and other spells. they are extremely docile and mostly laid back unless threatened. every animal of the species has a retractable two inch long poison barb on each rear leg, though some of these have been cut off by the previous owner. Drottas are roughly a foot tall at the shoulder.
