A fine gift indeed. I like how his character is holding a tiny Vitriol. It's as if he was asked, "Where's your friend?" to which he replied, "Right here!" before extending his hoof outward to show that Vitriol could just magically appear when he wanted him to.
Great cartoon-like work in which makes for a number of potential story ideas. Vitriol looks super cute, too!
