herself to him. The spirit refuses to cross over, saying that he needs her, and goes out of
her way to be useful to whatever cause he attaches himself to.

-History of Violence-
Pious is no stranger to violence, he grew up harshly, and had even witnessed his best
friend die in a terrible fire. Giving him a natural affinity for inflicting it on his enemies.

Personality: Stoic is the first thing that comes to mind. Pious is a man
that has seen too much to smile often. Jaded by his experiences Pious has become
disenchanted with humanity's collective conscious. Even despite his upbringing
Pious is a good man deep down that goes out of his way for those that he believes
are just, while never seeing himself as such.
Ever since his friend's death and that of multiple loved ones, Pious has grown a
rather intense self hatred. So much so that he often leads himself to a state of
starvation. He often feels himself as the darkest parts of humanity, and that he is
a symptom of a dark cancer that infects the world. Even still he has never brought
himself to suicide, believing that he is too afraid to take such a drastic step.
Appearance: Pious has never been a handsome man, and since a very
young age he has been littered with scars. Both of the physical and the psychological
kind. Pious is of moderate height and athletic to muscular body type. He sports major
burns along his left arm and right hand. Pious tends to coat himself in the same scented
paint that he does his dogs and beasts so that they will recognize friend from foe. Pious'
eyes glow with a constant color depending on how well he has fed. They nearly remain
his usual brown hue if he is well fed, and gradually grow darker orange as he refrains
from feeding.
When he as failed to feed for per longed periods of time he grows paler, his eyes grow a
darker red hue and his fangs elongate to show more of his vampire like qualities.
Although this makes him more noticeable to the populace Pious' antisocial mannerisms
and self loathing often lead him to the edge of starvation.
Bio: Pious de Atrio was born from a moderately well off family of ancient Mesopotamian decent.
During the turmoil surrounding the early Sumerian empire Pious' family were swept up in
broiling civil politics. Pious' father was a hard man, that expected much from
young Pious; pushing the young boy to be a man far sooner than others of his age.
Pious' father bought a family as slaves to help his wife and young son keep house while
he was away. Pious would befriend the young Lidiya after his father purchased her
family. Pious believed the girl befriended him out of pitty, while young Lidiya would
believe the same about him. Lidiya was his only true friend and Pious would brutalize
the others when they would hurt or torment Lidiya.
One of Pious' most defining episodes episodes Pious' home would burn down, trapping him
and Lidiya inside. Lidiya was trapped under debris that would eventually be engulfed in
flame. Pious would do everything in his power to save her, but when the flames claimed
her all he could do was hold her hand as she burned.
Pious' history is one filled with violence. Every so many decades he changes his name
and moves on. Finding work most enjoyable as a dog trainer, but every so often his
history and affinity for violence leads him down darker, and sometimes righteous paths.
