SOLAR FLARE COLOR ART TRADE FOR SORELSTRASZ on DA & TUMBLR.
An art trade I had with the owner of the ASK SOLAR FLARE tumblr, Sorelstrasz of his version of a Nightmare Celestia as fanart for his tumblr. It's basically set in an alternate universe/dimension that revolves around a What If? concept where Luna never became Nightmare moon but rather Celestia was the one who fell to the darkness becoming basically Daymare Sun/Nightmare Sun/Corona ect. Though that didn't last long compare to the prime universe where NMM was simply banished to the moon and remained like NMM til 1000 went by. Where as Luna was possessed by the Miasma/Nightmare Shadow leader of the Nightmare Forces in the official comics, Celestia was targeted by simply the Miasma and turned into her Nightmare Moon, Nightmare Sun.
The moment Luna used the elements on her sister was the moment that as Solar Flare puts it, "The day CELESTIA died and SOLAR FLARE was born." Unlike in the main universe, Celestia was banished to the sun and upon touching down on the fiery planet/star was purified of the miasma as the heat from the sun forced it out immediately and killed it. Unfortunately for Celestia despite being freed she was ironically condemned to a fate far worse than death having been scorched by the sun for 1000 years, something that would've long killed anything else.
Only by Celestia's power over the sun did she survive though mentally,emotionally, and physically scarred forever as her once beautiful white coat became as black and yellow as molten rock with lava in the cracks of her skin. 1000 years later she's returned to Equestia with plans of revenge while the followers of her tumblr try to convince her to let go of her hate and revenge as to stop more pain and suffering from happening to both her and her sister who will be even more heartbroken the moment she sees what she unintentionally turned her sister into and the very fate she condemned her to. If banishing her sister for 1000 years and ruling alone with no one to help or support her and causing some emotional, and mental scars from the burden of her job didn't kill Luna on the inside then seeing Celestia as she is now will.
All in all it's a tragic yet very interesting storyline for an Ask tumblr. I very much recommend anyone interested to check out the link and follow the tumblr. Now this for the story of what's going on in the the picture itself.
Solar Flare, the now molten lava nightmare form of Princess Celestia has found herself on an island with an erupting volcano and a Rock Golem. Where there is one there is bound to be many more. Are they friend or foe? Only one way for her to find out. As the volcano erupts, poisionous smoky smog comes out filling the air and hot lava flows down the volcano eventually into the water stream Solar Flare has found. Surrounded by the lava she isn't worried. Being made of molten rock herself now with her deadly body heat she can withstand it to the point of most likely walking on it without harm to herself. With her mane and tail flowing in the wind ever so hot and fiery like the sun itself she'll explore this island as her mind wanders back to the ruins of Canterlot and all she's gone through previously. "What could've destroyed Canterlot so? Something of that magnitude is unreal. And this island, what's with that Rock Golem? I've a long ways to go to find out the answers but I can count on all of you followers of mine to help me solve these mysteries won't I?" She thinks and speaks that last part.

Due to a a misunderstanding on both the owner of this character and my part, it appears my picture could be unintentionally considered traced or copied from 2 of his pictures.
