Go to a con first and see how you like it before you make any rash decisions ^.^ I think you could do it I like you art... but its good to go with a a theme or the best of your best... works you haven't shown people you know? thats what this is. i've shown a few to a few people to get opinions but there are a few that only jim and I have seen ^.^
I've been to AWA, my first ever convention and so far ONLY convention I've been to, and I really enjoyed it. Although I didn't get much popularity cause most of my art was fanart that no one could identify. But I did, in fact, sell some of my Final Fantasy fanart. And some drawings of fancharacters. And I also did some on-the-spot drawings.
I made just enough money to afford a VERY nice dinner with three close friends. (not fancy restaurant, but I could afford their dinners and my own)
