As for the bending pose? Mmm, I can see it but it's also nice to just see a girl kind of just sitting there you know? A ZENA IN HER NATURAL HABITAT, that sort of thing. I'm sure LD will draw massive amounts of poon for her soon anyways.

I find that interesting to be honest. I was afraid she would look too angry in this pic since her eyes have that natural look to them at this point.

I wasn't thinking angry, maybe slightly peeved. Regardless, "sultry" is definitely in the mix there.

I can see that. I'm wondering how most will react when I make some comics with her to show her current personality I worked out for her. Sorta a counter to the Surgeon. Where the Surgeon is pervy and care free, Zena is more professional and serious.

I would like that, and I am sure many others will too.

yup. I did a style where I shaded everything in grey with colored lights and shadows, then layered the colors over.

Another artist i know uses that same technique it works pretty well for you hun.

I saw someone doing it and felt like giving it a try. I don't think I'll be doing it from now on though because I find adjustment layers leave a nasty artifacting problem that leaves pictures looking off.

I tend to draw her in mostly blacks or whites in general. It fits for some reason. At this point I'm basing a lot of her designs off of Parasoul from Skullgirls and Kneesocks from Pantie and Stocking. Both of those characters wear a lot of black.

For the hair, I actually don't remember what was going through my head when I first made that decision. I just sorta felt it worked naturally with the kinda feathers raptors tend to have where it focuses in a strip.

Nothing says a character with black scales / fur / feathers can't like black. She's more of a charcoal color anyway. As long as the color is dark enough to be picked out, I feel it works pretty well.

I like the look - it's kind of sexy.

thank you. I purposefully made her lighter then the blacks of her hair and cloths so they wouldn't be too melded.
