You know, I just thought, I don't think there is any major work of media which has centaurs in a Western setting... I'm desperate to get my hands on Algernon Blackwood's "The Centaur", which is the only modern treatment of the subject that I'm aware of... There's an etext, but that feels like cheeting...

I dunno why I didn't find this earlier. Beautiful work, and yes taurs and the west are made for each other. That's why one of my taurs is a rodeo stockhorse. I bet the "bucking bronc" competitions look a bit "faked". (keeping The Far Side in mind). Incidentally, any centaur who accidentally bucks his human half off...would make me wet my pants laughing. LOL
Okay that wasn't very nice of me. *giggle*

Oh yeah..... I had worked on a drawing a few years ago: "Klip-klop Kulture", of two young 'taurs playing the 'dozens'. One of the lines was:

"Well, YOUR mama's so CLUMSY, bro................she fell offa herSELF!"

Never quite came out right..... maybe I'll try and redo it.... 7@=e
