You have a lot of amazing stuff, don't get me wrong. Maybe I'm biased because Moody has done such a great job putting all her heart into this character but you totally captured that. The art is fantastic but more than anything this has soul. It's a wounded soul yet there's hope here, too.
This is -so- good, Nateday. I cry every time I look at this but it's a good cry, y'know? Cus while things didn't go OK for a lot of folks back then you know Max is gonna be OK. He has to be. Someone's gotta help the world remember the ones who didn't make it.

This comment made me teary-eyed.
And reminded me of a comment I saw on something else related to the Holocaust last night, someone saying that the statement "millions of Jews died" is an exaggeration and it was really just thousands (as though that's so much better). That statement made me so angry I had trouble sleeping. Don't people learn history in school anymore? XP

I just stumbled upon this conversation but...what in the fuck? The Holocaust was the largest genocide of the 20th century during which approximately 11 million people died, a little over half of which were Jewish people...1 million were children! I know you probably know all this, but I'm just baffled as to how someone could think it's an exaggeration to say millions???
