It's sometimes tough to make gold things look like they're shiny, instead of like they're glowing. I think if you switched from a yellow haze around the gold things, to a white fuzz around only the reflective spots, it might look a little more so. A slightly darker outline might do well, too, like the one on the thing he's holding in his right hand.

great job the colouring is great, and so is body posture in the seat exelent work on the sun god, perhaps Apothis to counteract !!
Elsewhere the image is excellent - great colouring, lighting and shading. The pose is great as well. I also seem to have trouble drawing bodies sitting down.
