Poor otter, I have a strange feeling that this may of happened during the bad winter we had earlier this year.

It was actually on a road-trip about 10 years ago. In all honesty, I thought it was really cool because I never (for whatever reason) thought about the possibility of it snowing on the beach! Still, it was a LITTLE disappointing, because I'm landlocked and I don't get to spend time at the beach often. (As a matter of fact, that was my most recent visit to the beach, and the last time I spent any appreciable amount of time at one! ...if you can call an hour an appreciable amount of time, lol)

So he built a sand castle, and covered it with a facade of snow.

Hah! I live on this beach and remember the days this happened. It was surreal to witness. That otter's face is spot on.

would love to become and otter some day by you, would be fun!

Having Seen clips of otter frolicking and sliding in the snow, I wouldn't have thought this would be much of an impediment to the fun

Judging from the photos I found on Google, the snow doesn't settle on the part of the beach that's getting rinsed with the waves. But definitely possible, the photos are there to prove it! :3

Ha! I was actually at the coast when that happened! Yeah, it was surprising to see like 4-6 inches of snow at the beach. And probably would not have been fun for sitting in the sand...

Poor guy looks pretty upset. But he's a otter, so I'm sure that turned into another fun playtime! WEEEEEEE go sliding and right into the water, hehe.

As a Michigander, snowy beaches are a fact of life ^u^" Followed by anxiety about if the dune grass will die and the dune collapse in erosion...
