Okay... Edgar's reference.
As you may notice there are some parts were the background decor intersects with Edgar's head. I made a mistake with layers in Photoshop, and was too lazy to fix it.
-Personality- Edgar is that cynical, sardonic prick who rains on everyone else's parade, so to speak. Rarely fully enraged or even angered, but mostly in an ever-present state of irritation he's quick to point out whatever he finds annoying. On top of that long list of those things that he dislikes is people. While Reynard just has poor social skills, Edgar for the most part just loathes being in most social situations.
This being said, Edgar spends most of his time seeking solace in peaceful solitude (of course, seeking doesn't always mean getting). This goal leads to a certain amount of cowardice on Edgar's part. Afraid to disrupt the neat order of his life, he usually balks from anything new and would rather take the easy way out of confrontations.
While being more grounded then his off-kilter brother, Edgar still has private neuroses that flare up now and again. He's a germophobe, easily nauseated and obsessive-compulsive. Strangely neurotic about food, of all things, he refuses to eat anything that doesn't seem right or is even just a day past the expiration date.
But, like Reynard though, he is a mostly good guy, though he makes no effort to hide social disdain and obtaining any amount of sympathy from him is difficult to say the least.
-Back story- He, obviously, grew up in the same environment of comfort and wealth that Reynard did. He was a small, quiet child who often would rather play alone, so aside from his parents and a kind, elder sister, none of his other siblings would have much to do with him. Needless to say, he was not close to Reynard at all. In fact, the most interaction he had with Reynard when he was little was when he was ten-years-old (Reynard being eight) resulted in chronic lower back pain.
Both were up on a the roof, when Reynard saw a dead bird and a stick, and he did what any immature, 8-year-old boy would do, he stuck the stick in the bird corpse and pestered Edgar with it by shoving it in his face. With his low gag reflex (and germophobia starting to bud), Edgar scampered to the edge of roof to avoid contact with dead bird and to possibly to hurl into the bushes below. Reynard not realizing how far he was taking things, prodded the bird even further. Edgar leaned back too far and fell, screwing up his back badly, and thus resulting in on and off back pain for the rest of his life.
From then on, his father encouraged Edgar to be involved in sports. While he was a somewhat average athlete, the exercise kept his back pain in check, which was the point.
Then parents died and the problems with inheritance ensued. Afterwards, he moved into a small, decrepit apartment, which was all he could afford. He then descended into a strange depression. Most of his days consisted sitting at school, working, going home just to lie around and watch TV. He became rather apathetic, stopped the sports, and the back pain came back, which just made him feel worse, which, in turn, just motivated him to do nothing. This caused him to put on weight and resulted in his gut.
One day, for the hell of it, he decided to call the only sibling he had managed to get the phone number of, that being Reynard.
To his surprise, this lead to Reynard being thrust back into his dull, pathetic life. It was a blessing in disguise, though, since Reynard's presence forced Edgar to get out of the depression he was in and to start living his life once more.

White was actually my favorite color, just because it wasn't black.
But soon, I found, it wasn't enough to fill an entire wardrobe. I like it when black accentuates the white, though.
I also enjoy the way white and red mix. There's just something about it that seems so... violent.
