You really should! Honestly it's the only series of TMNT I really got into. The original is pretty good but since I didn't really watch it as a kid, it still didn't mean much to me as a show. Now it only does because the new one wouldn't exist without it, haha.
I suppose I like the new one so much because I feel that their personalities are much more developed. They all stand out as individuals with their own quirks, flaws and unique tastes and abilities. Plus I love the style and designs - the animators went a few steps ahead and gave them different body types, heights, shades of green and -completely- different head shapes and facial features if you look closely. I dunno, I'm very visual and those subtle details stand out a lot to me and give me more respect for a show and its creators. ;u;
