A bust painting sketch thing of a Blue and Gold macaw<3
I love macaws so much ;w; still sad I have to wait a few years before I can even consider getting one, but when I do get one I plan on purchasing or adopting one that is being rehomed from a previous owner or a rescue. No more buying baby birds for me, I want to give some TLC to older or unwanted birds that really need a good home!<3 Pluckers, screamers, whatever, I don't care, they'll get nothing but love from me! hehe
The three small birds I own now I purchased from breeders as babies. Two are two years old and one is one year old. Big babies, all of them pft! Personally I am a big bird person, my three little goobers are all small birds, the largest being a senegal and the smallest being a lineolated parakeet. The middle-sized one is a brat-species.. the green cheek conure dun dun dun lol
I'm going to stop right now cuz when I start talking about birds I don't ever stop. If you're into birds and don't mind bird-chatting feel free to comment! XD

OH MY GOSH BIRDS
I'm actually going to college to become a bird-specializing zookeeper because I love them so much. I have helped plenty around here myself. A year and a half ago at my grandmother's lightning struck a tree and knocked over 50 birds unconscious. Me and one of my family friends collected all of them and helped them dry off and come to. I also do a lot of getting baby birds out of harms way while they are learning how to fly if they are stuck or in a dangerous situation.

Birds are definitely fun! I think falconry would be a neat experience to try some day :3 If I could I'd love to breed and be an avian behaviorist for parrots but both those jobs you have to be very good at to make a decent living X3 Breeding is more of a labor of love, too, no real profit in it. Despite that, I do hope that someday I can get at least one proven pair of macaws X3 I definitely am more into the big bone-crushing beaked birds haha Macaws mostly, but I do really love african grays as well. Such amazing critters birds are :3
Ah gosh, that sounds like so much fun! Raising birds sounds great but my parents do not like the smell they make. I like all kinds of birds myself. I am mostly around small birds but I like both sizes the same. My top favorite birds are horn bills personally because I think they are beautiful and I love how smart they are. Birds are just awesome goshhhh
