Omg you guys, remember when paw day WASN'T today, but 3 months ago? That's how I roll..Mmhmm ^_^
Anyways..I did this pic for
artie for Paw day, and didn't get around to coloring it until the other day like a derphead X_X
Paws are still something on my "I don't draw these very well" list, but non the less it was really fun to do even though I'm not much of a paw person.
I can fill this space with a self loathing description about how it could be better, and yada yada yada, but I shall spare you all of that..THIS TIME!!!! XD
Thank you all so much for taking a look, I really appreciate it ^_^ *Huggles*

Thanks you, again, I'm SO so glad you like it! It's so fun to work on pics with you because you allow so much freedom! I always learn new things when Artie is involved XD. Also, he may be small, but he certainly knows how to work those paws like a pro, almost as if he's done it before or something ^_^
I've tried warping effects and stuff like that in the past, but it never really looks right or it looks too forced. It'll also warp EVERYHING, which over time I've found is something that almost takes away and kills the effect. So I just draw it all instead, but I really like drawing in sections, and sort of assembling everything and arranging things as I draw them. Like, I'll draw a head, then in a seperate layer, draw a hand or a paw, then just place it somewhere on the canvas, and sort of 'connect the dots' with it all if that makes any sense. I also like making flow lines, which are just curved lines, to help guide me on curving things. Keeping things a bit distorted is a good thing. People try drawing a perfect circle to make a head or something, but making it an imperfect one like an oval or something gives you more of that effect. I totally plan on maybe streaming sometime, I'd be more than happy to maybe show you if I do ^_^
Puppet warp is in Photoshop 5 or higher. It puts a grid onto whatever you have onscreen in the current layer. You then put stick pins on it to hold it in place and can then put other pins to move or stretch other parts of the image. I could take an image of a person, put them on a transparent background and move their arms and legs about like a puppet. It even allows placing areas in front of or behind other areas. Pretty cool stuff. I use it making badges all the time.
