A great dish from
dedicated to a pangolin we all know and love :P
Well since m'culinary compnanion decided ta dedicate a specially prepared meal in my honor, I thought it only fair ta return the compliment an make'im up a lil' somethin' special... Now not that any'a this is uniquely original by recipe mind ya but it's a nice dish that makes good of utilizin' both somethin' new ya wanna cook up while dressin' up some'a yer left-overs.
Ingredients:
1 pck. of chicken thighs
for the 'main preparation' these ya wanna cut up inta nice thick thunks ya wanna bag up an marinade.
1 pck, of bacon (this I used as a roll wrap fer some of the teriaki chicken)
garnishes:
2 slices of tomato
5 slices of cucumber
(splash tomatoes an cucumbers with red wine vinegar then sprinkle with garlic an herb seasonings)
a dolloped spread of egg salad
The chicken thighs were cut inta large chunks an marinated in teriaki and soy sauce along with Nature's seasonings (a couple dashes) and Mrs. Dashes' Garlic & herb seasonings (also a couple dashes) in a bag an left ta marinate (I had mine marinate fer 3 days)
The chicken (the first few chunks) were wrapped in bacon an skewered with toothpicks (make 24 from the packs) the rest were skewered on long wooden skeweres ta bake in a broiler pan at 300degrees an monitored fer how well ya want'em cooked.
The rest is actually just things I garnished the chicken with... some left-over egg salad an tomato an cucumber slices I dashed with red wine vinegar an sprinkled with herb an garlic seasonings :)
