you can always make a PDF file as a online magazine, or if you know Flash you can do it with Flash too =] ive been planning on making somekind of furry art magazine but i dont know what would be the theme of it.
i know how to work in InDesign and then just export the magazine/book as a PDF

thats really helpful i would never imagined do it that way

you can do it in numerous ways

1.you can do it in InDesign. and after youre done you can just export it as a pdf file

2. you can do the pages all separately in Photoshop. say every page should be like 800x600 or something like that. Then you just save every file as pdf, and then when you have all the pages you want you can join them all together with Adobe Acrobat Professional. If you want to add some text as an article i recommend using Adobe Illustrator for that.

3. if you know actionscript, you can do VERY stylish magazines/books in Flash, with all those pages flipping and everything.
