Another commission I couldn't pass up from Luthien_Nightwolf. a bt of non-cannon fantasy but I think this is my favorite yet. The theme was Dryads, and all I picked the Douglas fir. a challenging choice, but I knew Luthien could make it work. (also my absolute favorite type of tree from home... except in spring when they start to pollinate) Sadly the scan doesn't do the art justice. there are many subtle shades of green added into the fur, and blushing on the cheeks that is just absolutely gorgeous. the look and attitude is so nice as well.
