I love drawing and coloring detail! It's what drives a lot of my work these days.
I'd been seeing other artists I admire use gemstones and cabochons in their work for years, but I had no idea where to get the shiny bits so that I could use them, too. I finally went to a local rock and mineral show, and it was like I'd died and gone to shiny-rock heaven. Now I incorporate the stones whenever I find a picture that I think they'll fit!
