I've started a few traditional type drawing since acquiring a tablet, but those will take me a while to finish, and I wasn't entirely motivated to take on the task of a new character drawing. So, I did something that landed right in the middle so I could prevent a "zero day" (as in zero things done today).
I sketched out this French bulldog puppy using Sketchbook on my new tablet and then tried inking and coloring him/her on Ink pro (both from autodesk, both worth checking out). The product is the simple vector pup you see before you, I think learning the inking program will vastly improve the quality of my line work. Which reminds me...
I actually got the tablet because I'll be out and about quite a bit next week, so while I'm sitting around waiting, I'll be able to continue working on commissions... Of which I have none... Which is why you should commission me :)
