Ray Fillet ( sometimes called Man Ray ), is another of my favorite original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures. I always thought of him as being the leader of the Mighty Mutanimals ( with Jagwar being 2nd in command ). That starfish, ( called Scarfish ), has revealed Ray's pointless color-changing ACTION! ( Actually, Ray just uses too much Snuggle softener when he does his laundry ).

is he? oh never knew that. That makes him more interesting cause he's grey; not pure evil or good unlike say the Shredder or his minions.

is he neutral in TV show or the comics or both?

It depends. He's used in so many ways but I think in general, he's usually an ally to the turtles. He's one of the Mutanimals like Ray Fillet and the other guys in the background.

There's been new Turtle comics for a while. I can't keep up. I've just been digging my old stuff... which suddenly got really expensive. ( The last few Archies TMNT comics can be pricey )

He would change color if you left him in the sun, too. I think mine is now some combination of yellow and purple (mud?) permanently.

Love the group of onlookers over the fence (Mondo looks particularly amused).

Yeah, or if it just got hot. Mine still changes but I dunno if the blue works right anymore. It looked grey the other day. Mondo's having a blast.
