Formal corvid - left facing
what happens when I'm feeling creative, part 3
I wanted to try some formline art so here's my very first (technically second but the design is almost the same) attempt. It's quite possible I already broke several rules of this style so I apologize in advance to any Haida, Tlingit, Tsimshian, Salish, Kwakwaka'wakw, Nuu-chah-nulth and all the other First Nations people who might feel offended by my scribbling in any way. It WAS supposed to be a corvid, but, well, I'm glad it's at least recognizable as a bird
watercolours, ink, gum arabic, baking soda, salt, A4
EDIT: original for sale, 25$ + shiping costs, prints available in A5 format for 2$ (medium-quality 300g matte printing paper) or 3$ (higher-quality 260g semi-gloss photo paper), prints in A4 format possible (for 3$ and 5$ respectively)

Oh, thanks! However, I doubt my knowledge of the formline style is sufficient to actually teach it.
